A handy charger for the car (excellent Value !!!)
I bought this item mainly for the batteries but the charger is a nice bonus that works well. Its compact enough to store in my camera bag. Because it has a builtin 120Vac plug that swivels out i do not need to carry long power cord like the one used by the Canon charger that came with the camera. The 12v cigarette lighter plug and cord can stay in my car. This has now become my main charger and my Canon OEM charger is now stored in a closet as a back up. The batteries are a perfect fit for my Canon T5i and each have performed as well as the Canon OEM battery that came with the camera. I have taken several thousand photos in the past couple of months and have not had any complaint regarding battery life or charging. FOLLOW UP: I have been using two of these Wassabi batteries and charger for 21 months along with the OEM Canon battery that came with my camera. I cycled usage of all three batteries as equally as I could across nearly 30,000 shots. Arround about month 14 the Wassabi charger failed while using it in a car. Contacted the vendor and obtained a new one under warrantee with no questions asked once my amazon purchase transaction was verified. As for the batteries I had no issue until last night (5/23/2015) when I had one battery operate with a reduced capacity. Noticed that both Wassabi batteries have a slight bulge (one more than the other) which is a sign that the end is near for them. By comparison the OEM battery that came with the camera is still going strong and has no bulging. These Wassabi batteries are 1/5th the price of an OEM Canon battery and functioned well enough that I consider them an excellent value. Based on my overall positive experience with this product I have decided to make new purchase of 2 batteries and charger to day (05/24/2015) 4out of 5 because of some difficulty getting the batteries out of the charger. The batteries fit and snap in very easily how ever taking the battery out is a little difficult as the battery needs to be pressed to the side at a lower corner with some force to release it from a spring latch. The OEM Canon battery is particularly difficult to remove because its latch detents on the sides are slightly deeper compared to the other two batteries. The instructions were not that clear in describing how to remove the battery from the charger. I had to use a table knife to pry the battery out the first time i tried it. I then noticed a small arrow cast into the plastic that was covered by the battery that was labeled remove. Once i pressed the battery in that direction it popped out with a little pressure but without the need to pry it out with a knife.

Great Replacement Battery for my Canon T3i
Every photographer, old and new alike, should have a spare battery or two whenever they're shooting. This is such an incredible price for two batteries plus a spare charger (total is still half the cost of one original Canon battery) that it's a no brainer. I was deciding between this Wasabi battery set and the Photive battery and ultimately bought this set because of it's great value and price. PROS: -Both batteries are each 2000mAh and hold a longer charge, compared to Original Canon LP-E8's 1120mAh -Affordable price - advertised as premium cells from Japan but made in China (expected) -Also charges the original Canon LP-E8 battery CONS: -Battery indicator not accurate (other reviewers mention the reason the original Canon battery is expensive is because it has a built in chip that accurately predicts the battery level). From my experience using the Wasabi batteries, it does indicate accurately the battery is full (3 bars) when it is fully charged, but does not indicate the progression of the battery level as it is used. However, five to ten minutes before the batteries are completely drained, it will indicate the battery level at its halfway mark (2 bars) for ~2 minutes and then progresses to 1 bar before the whole battery indicator flashes, giving you the pop up warning to replace batteries. -Hard to remove battery from charger - some of the negative reviews centered on this battery is the fact that after you charge the battery, it's hard to remove from the charger. A video has been uploaded already on Amazon for your perusal, but it's really easy to remove. To be fair, there are arrows on the charger surface itself indicating how to remove the battery, although less clear. INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REMOVE THE BATTERY FROM THE CHARGER: -Simply push the bottom of the battery towards the right side of the charger (while facing the charger) and then lift the battery up and voila! The battery snaps off like a breeze. Overall, I would definitely recommend this set of Wasabi batteries and charger for any photographer. For this price, it's equivalent to getting an extra battery and spare charger for the price of one OEM battery. If you made it this far in my review, go get yours today!

Nice
Affordable. Works well. Nice replacement for original batteries that are no longer made. Includes charger that won’t overcharge with adapter for Euro outlets.

A solid battery/charger combo, but not as good as the original
I managed to misplace my original camera battery charger for the EOS 600D a while ago. While I eventually found it, I’d already ordered a replacement. The Wasabi Power Battery and Charger works quite well. I was blown away by how cheap it was compared to other, similar products on Amazon. And it came with two batteries as well, something I didn’t need at the time, but definitely didn’t object to having. After casual use, I found they worked well. And as a casual user they were virtually indistinguishable from the Cannon batteries and charger. However, a few weeks ago, I had to film a decent amount of footage for a team promotional video, which drained the camera battery quite quickly. The Wasabi batteries lasted about half as long each as the original battery did and took about as much time to recharge. Between the two of them and the original Cannon battery (and charger) I was able to shoot for eight hours or so, almost continuously, but the Wasabi batteries were clearly draining at a much faster rate. They each lasted about 40 minutes and took between 1-2 hours to recharge. I would probably buy these batteries again, especially considering how much cheaper they are than others on the market, however you should be aware that they aren’t nearly as good as the original. Note: Some of the kids on the team had some trouble with getting the batteries out of the charger. You have to push the battery backwards before you can lift it out. There are directions printed in the plastic, but you can’t actually see them when there’s a battery in it.

Always Nice to Have Extras
It’s always nice to have extra camera batteries ready to go. The two-pack and charger make it easy to keep a spare charged so I’m not stuck waiting when one battery runs out. Great for travel, longer shoots, or just keeping backups in the camera bag!

Wasabi!
"Whoa, what the heck are you?" "I'm Wasabi!" "Hehehehehe... Waaaaaaaasaaaaaaabi...." Old Annoying Orange thing, pretty funny. Well that's what I'm always reminded of when I think of my now extensive collection of Wasabi LP-E8's and NB2LH's. I've been getting these ever since the old Rebel XT and NB2LH days, and then of course I replaced my aging XT with a Canon T2i so I started racking up LP-E8 batteries for it. They've always held up well for me with a long service lifespan and good run times, so I just keep em coming as I need em. The chargers always come with a European outlet adapter, the prongs on the charger itself fold away when not needed, and of course they always come with a car lighter plug, and the charger itself has the little power socket for it on the side. For what little you pay for this stuff, it works amazingly well, and honestly I am NOT in the camp that thinks the Canon batteries work "so much better". Battery packs are thrown together from huge stockpiles of loose Li-Ion cells from China, and every camera manufacturer on the planet is pretty much using the same ones. Canon doesn't have some Li-Ion cell manufacturing trick up its sleeve somewhere any more than anyone else, and I sure don't see a wicked performance difference for the insane prices they ask for theirs. I've had bad packs from other third party companies, yes, but not Wasabi, so that's why I stick with them. One very interesting thing about the Wasabi chargers specifically - they're made with two pieces that slide together. They do this so that they can use one main body with a wide range of pack holder pieces. It's clever for them, and I just recently realized that it's about the best thing to ever happen to my hobby of DIY electronics. I can buy up two chargers, and dismember one of them to use the pack holder piece as a battery pack holder for my latest crazy design, be it another homemade laser or my latest thing which is a homemade Arduino Geiger counter. I simply solder in some wires to run to my project, and presto, I have LP-E8 or NB2LH power for my design. The second charger of course is left alone for use in actually charging the packs, and the body of the one I took the holder from is put away for in case one of my other chargers dies. If I for whatever reason kill my NB2LH charger, I simply swap the holder out onto the backup and I'm right back in business. How cool is that? Too cool, that's how cool. So anyway, I definitely love the Wasabi stuff, and I'll be loyal with them as long as my needs hold out.

Very good batteries
I bought these batteries a few months ago when I bought my canon T4i and never wanted to be in a situation where I ran out of batteries. Now with 3 batteries ( 2 wasabi and 1 canon), I have no problems. These batteries have performed as well as the original one and have same life. This charger charges both the Wasabi batteries and the canon battery and so I carry this charger that is smaller than the original canon charger. By the way, the canon charger charges these batteries as well. I saw that some reviews stating difficulty in removing the battery from the charger. There is a small trick to remove the battery from the charger. One should push the battery in the direction that is shown by a faint arrow on the mounting base (where the battery sits) of the charger while holding the charger in the other hand and the battery easily comes out. You need to tilt the charger at an angle for the arrow sign to be clearly visible. I wish the manufacturer had put this little instruction and not left it to me to figure it out. I have used the car charger attachment during a long drive and the battery charges well. So I had battery power on the move. I did shoot a few thousand pictures and videos and could replace batteries as and when needed. All in all, having used these for a few charge-discharge cycles, I am quite please with this low cost and great value purchase.

definitely a help, but does'nt last as long
How can you pass up a deal like that? two batteries and a charger, for that price?? even if it's not the name brand, still... one name brand bat by itself is like $80... and the specs show 20000mAh while the name brand is only 1120mAh!! and the name brand is 8.1Wh while the Wasabi is 14.4Wh! According to those specs, which are clearly printed right on the battery, the Wasabi SHOULD be a more powerful battery than the name brand that came with my camera, right?? unfortunately it doesn't quick work that way... The Wasabi batteries die in about half the time it takes for the Cannon battery to die. My plan was to use 2 Cannon Rebel T3i's for my video shoot, using this two Wasabi battery package to give each camera a spare battery, allowing for continuos shooting. when the first bat dies, put it on the charge, and replace it with the Wasabi... and keep going around like that. But the Wasabi battery dies before the Cannon battery is charged up. On the other hand it IS nice to have the back up batteries. I changed to a one camera shoot, using the same constant shoot strategy, only I go through both Wasabi batteries. By the time the Cannon battery is charged, I am half way dead on the 2nd Wasabi. Ultimately, the Wasabi doesn't last nearly as long as the Cannon, but it does work, and is convenient to have, especially since there are two of them, and especially for that price.

Estupendo!!!!
Casi diría que mejor que la batería original que vino con mi 600D, ya que estas son de 2000mAh (aunque la descripción dice 1500, las fotos donde se ve 2000 son correctas)

Excellent for "on the move" use
I use the charger as a spare with the added attraction of being able to charge batteries by 12v supply away from the mains supply. Handy when in the car or camping. The additional 2 batteries are a bonus and are curently standing up well.

Wasabi 2-pack and charger
Batteries hold a charge as long as the canon batter that came with my T2i. I have had these for about 6 weeks and I take a lot of pictures and videos. The charger is great and I can charge in my car with the adapter that came with it. Can also charge my canon battery so i don't have to bring 2 chargers with when I traval. I would recommed these to any one that takes a lot of pictures.

Wasabi Rules Highly Recommended
Now this is a strict requirement for shooters to have spare battery. One can carry it along on its own or even use it with a battery grip. Its actually cheaper and works fine without any lag in battery life compared to the factory-supplied canon battery. Also one can charge it on the go so thats makes car charging pretty helpful in outskirts. What I like : 1) Price : Its cheap 2) Ease of charging : Power pin or car charging option 3) Built quality : looks like a nicely built product 4) Better battery life than any other 3rd party cheap batteries. What I dont like : 1) Shipping duration : very slow since it ships from US. Be prepared for 15-20 days of waiting but its worth it!

Love it!
Great product, longer than OEM battery life. I prefer the charger supplied with this kit to the Canon OEM.
