I really like this product. Super sturdy and very simple to install. I love that it has to be screwed into the window sill/wall. Makes me feel like it is really secure. I originally planned on installing it horizontally but I didn't want to have to deal with placing it just right so my 4 year old doesn't just punch the screen out of his window and climb over the bars (yes, something he would totally do). I saw in the reviews that somebody had installed it vertically and it seemed like that would be the best solution to keep my escape artist inside his room. We live in a 2 story house and his window has a window seat which puts him higher up next to his window. This is obviously terrifying and crucial that my husband and I find a solution the works and I think this will keep my little man safe.

Installs easy

I bought two of these to put across a sliding door that opened to a 4 foot drop outside (I know, what were they thinking?). They were easy to install and are quite strong. My wife was concerned that it would look like a jail, but even she is happy with the appearance.

Bends easily.

Safety bars I am using on inside of bedroom windows so Grandkids do not put head thru the windows the bed is right by. They look ok will hurt if head hits them but better then head thru glass. Super easy to install used regular screws as these are inside not out. Like them look good.

We have a very large dog that HATES all people not in the family and it's his personal mission to protect us and attempt to get to them and destroy them. Whenever UPS etc comes on the porch he would continuously jump at the front window in an attempt to get at them. We were afraid that one day he would succeed and get badly hurt on his way thru the glass. My husband installed 1 on each window and they work great. All the window jumping has stopped and delivery people no longer feel the need to throw my packages from the safety of their truck.

It doesn't leave me confident that a would be burglar couldn't get past it. I'm hoping just the sight of it will deter anyone from even trying to break in.
