Japanese Moisturizing Face Cream
The product is made in Japan so I expected high quality and it did not fail to deliver. Upon opening, I noted that the product smelled somewhat like baby powder, a plus for me because I don’t like heavily-scented products. It is a little less viscous than other face creams I’ve tried. It spreads easily over the skin. Since I’ve used it for several weeks now, I’ve noticed that my face has become smoother, freckles have become lighter, and my nasolabial folds are less pronounced. The main ingredient is swiftlet nests, which are prized highly in Asia. My own experience with it is as an ingredient in bird’s nest soup which contains nearly color-less and tasteless gelatinous bits. It’s made by extracting the bird’s saliva which the birds use to form the nest. To harvest these nests is extremely hard because climbers have to go the near-vertical cliffs. Why swiftlet nests, you wonder? According to their official English website (some pages are still under construction), the famed Consort Yang from the Tang Dynasty used this as part of her beauty regimen. But on a more scientific basis, the nest extract contains two important ingredients: EGF which works on cells on the surface of our skin to support the growth of new cells; and FGF which acts on the cells that produce collagen to support growth and retain collagen. Here are the ingredients: water, Argania spinosa kernel oil, BG, hydrolyzed swiftlet next extract, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, hydrogenated lecithin pentylene glucol, propanediol, water-soluble proteoglycan, hydrolyzed collagen, water-soluble collagen, succinoyl atelocollagen, white jelly mushroom polysaccharides, enterococcus gaecalis, ceramide NP, ceramide AP, ceramide EOP, tocopherol, brown sugar extract, cyanocobalamine, phytosphingosine ascorbyl glocoside, Gyucosyl Hesperidine, arginine, phellodendron amurense bark extract, sodium dialroyl glutamate lysine, 5NA. stearic acid, behenyl alcohol, cholesterol, dimethicone, carbomer, xanthan gum, fragrance, phenoxyethanol. If you would like to try this product, I highly recommend it. For me, it’s a bit on the pricier side but not too bad compared to other creams on the market. It’s a great product for mature women but I suppose it’s not too early for those who are younger. Another bonus if you’re the philanthropic kind is that Bi-Su donates a portion of its sales to nature conservation in Borneo, where the swiftlet nests are harvested.

Makes Skin Soft but the Baby Powder/Floral Scent is Subjective
Bird spit anyone? This beautiful cream is made from swiftlet nest essences and argan oil. When I saw that, I just had to try it!It is a rich and creamy peachy colored moisturizing cream that comes in a lovely container with a golden swiftlet profile on the lid.I was so excited to try it and a little bit was perfect. It glides on beautifully and absorbs quickly leaving really soft skin behind. I really love the results. However, the scent is a strong baby powder scent with some florals mixed in. To me, this is a very strong scent which I could smell even the next morning (maybe it was on my pillow?) I really dislike the scent of baby powder and heavy florals such as rose so this is just not working for me. I was really hoping that the scent would dissipate quickly so that I could enjoy the benefits of the beautiful cream. But it just seems to linger on my skin and with my strong reaction to the scent I find that I just cannot use this which is a shame because it really does feel nice. It's just not for me.If you like the scent of baby powder with some florals, you will love this beautiful higher end moisturizing cream. This is manufactured in Japan

Works well
The thick pink cream had a soft powdery scent. It smooth on like butter and left my skin feeling super soft and smooth. It didn't leave skin feeling tacky or sticky afterwards. A little goes a long way to leave skin silky smooth and soft. Personally, while I enjoyed the product and notice a difference in the appearance of my skin after using it for a few weeks, it's a bit out of my price range. However, I will keep in mind this unique ingredient. I have seen it before listed on some Korean skincare products and face masks.

Nice thick cream, may be a little expensive
I have mostly been using Dermalogica products for the past year. I do like the way my skin feels with the products, but thought they might be a little expensive. This is even more than that. I once bought LaMer thinking it would be so good because it was so expensive, but over time it didn't perform enough for me to justify the price. I just started using the products, and so far I do like them very much. The cream is very nice and thick and my skin feels super soft after application. Better than my current Dermalogica Super Firm. I think there are thicker creams in that line, so I may not be comparing the same type of product. This is very nice, however it does have a floral scent. It doesn't bother me, but I do notice it, so if you are sensitive to that kind of thing, you may not like it. I use it sort of sparingly and mostly around my eyes and forehead (where the wrinkles are!) It does work well. And since it is thick, I don't need a lot of it, which may help justify the price. It does have some odd ingredients (birds' nests?) but maybe it will do something amazing to my skin. I have experienced no irritation or anything and my skin does feel very nice. It is definitely a splurge though so I will have to wait and see after a few months if I will continue with it.

Nice moisturizing cream for oily skin, pricey
I like this BI-SU Bird's Nest Essence Rejuvenating Moisturizing Cream a lot. It is lightweight but moisturizing enough for my oily skin. The silky body is easy to apply and absorb really fast. Definitely a nice cream to try.The price is 1.41oz for $165. Worth trying.
