My Bouviers love this food and do extremely well on it. Both are extra-large, long-haired dogs. and have excellent health with long shining coats. I just got a new bag today and was glad to see that the 24-pound bags now have a larger size kibble than previously. Much better size for medium to extra-large pups. Was thrilled to see that change. I highly recommend it, and so do the Bouviers!

This meets low fat diet needs. Both my elderly dogs have pancreatitis. One has severe ibs and food allergies. I’ve tried many low fat vegan dog kibble. She was unable to tolerate any of them until this one. I still have to feed her half fresh food but this is supplemented for the other half. All my dogs love it. Our old man has done good on it. This replaced Royal Canin prescription low fat gastrointestinal food. I wanted something our sensitive girl could eat too. This is also a little bit cheaper in price which is hugely helpful. Our puppy who has no dietary restrictions loves to eat any kernels of this food she can find so I’m assuming it tastes great as well. Since she’s a pup and is a little picky.

This is one of the few dog foods that does not contain meat. My dog likes it and has a very shiny coat. We use half this and half a mix-in that contains everything but the protein, to which we add meal worms as protein. Trying to be kind to animals of all kinds. Sorry beetle larvae.

Item arrives on time (subscription) and well packaged. Due to the fact that it's vegan based, the price is up there and I do wish it was offered in a larger size as well. Feeding three dogs on this diet/brand is expensive as it doesn't last a month. The plus is that it does help the one with all the allergies and the others don't seem to mind they're not getting any meat/poultry in their food. Even their treats are vegetarian! In a nutshell, I recommend this brand and the fact that you can have it dropped to the door, a plus.

Long story short, I have a 7 month old Chihuahua mix puppy that has been diagnosed with food and environmental allergies (after ruling out ectoparasites and finding out she's allergic to lamb, chicken, eggs, and fish, and pollen). She gets cytopoint injections for the environmental allergies and this food helps with the food allergies. Throughout the food elimination trial I have tried other brands that make vegetarian and limited ingredient diets (some were difficult to get because of being backordered). My picky eater will actually eat this food (I soak it in warm water to soften it). It's been about 5 weeks now on this food and her scratching/itchiness has subsided to almost nonexistent. The price is ok, but it's fine since it's working. The kibble is too big for little dogs and I wish there was a small bites version (I crush it up with a mortar and pestle). Other than that this food seems to work great for my dog.

My dogs love this and its a good lower protein option ,especially for my elderly dogs.

Our dog doesn't do well with any type of animal or fish meat. She had been on prescription hydrolyzed protein for years. I was nervous to make the switch but I'm so glad I did. This food has been amazing for her stomach! No issues with the transition. Plus she LOVED the taste and it is more affordable than a prescription diet. Yay!

My boxer loves this food. He is experiencing boundless energy, super health, and a shiny coat that dazzels the eye! Our vet says that she has rarely seen a Boxer so healthy! Just be aware . . . This food and diet is very different to the usual meat, by product and preservative laden diet most dog foods offer. It makes a very healthy dog, BUT . . . it is high in fiber and nutrients, but high fiber passes through a carnivores short digestive system quickly. So, if you can't take your doggie friend out every 8 hours, be ready to clean your floor. Initially, our boxer would be fine with a 12 hour wait on preservative laden meat based food. He would be often constipated and his coat was ragged. Now, his health and coat are shining. But , he does need to go out every 8 hours. He is adjusting now, but when starting on this diet, his poop was very soft and sometimes liquid. As he adjusts, his poop is getting more solid, but if we wait too long to take him out, he can't hold it. He is not even able to warn us, it just comes out. So, if you have time with your dog, and want them to live a much longer healthier life, then feed them vegan food. Just be aware that they will need to "go" more often.
