They work so great. Sound proof when the mic is up and when you put the mic down you can hear ur own voice so ur not yelling into the mic. Sound quality is amazing!!!

Got this after my wife tries two different cheapo wireless headsets that were seemingly capatible for the Switch. Both failed to connect, regardless of where we plugged the USB in. They both did work for the PS5. I have an old Turtle Beach headset that we tested on the Switch, and it worked perfectly, as it should. So, when we found an awesome refurbished Turtle Beach headset for $50, which was nicer than my old headset, we had to try it. Turns out, it works and looks like brand new. Why spend $50 more for the same headset, when you can save money and recycle plastic by buying the refurbished version for the exact same experience. Headset is comfy and the sound is crisp.

After NOT receiving a transmitter with my purchase, I contacted the team and was able to have a new one sent for free.I’ve followed ALL Instructions to pair carefully multiple times.I can pair the headset just fine (I do receive a “Headset Paired” voice prompt through the headset), but the problem is it’s just static. All I hear is constant unbearable cracking & distorted noises. It’s almost unbearable and it sounds awful.I have tried to factory reset MANY times and it has done absolutely nothing. I made sure the both input/output volume is set to the headset. Still nothing.MY SECOND problem is the update. I’ve tried to update my headset but I can’t. I’ve downloaded the application, the headset pops on the app and everything seems fine… UNTIL I click download.It does say that there is an update available, so I click “update” then “yes” after I click yes, the entire app completely freezes. EVERY SINGLE TIME. So I can’t update the firmware either. Extremely disappointed in turtle beach because in the past I’ve had nothing but awesome customer service & reliable headsets that last for years.I’m sure that my headset is defected or something.I’ve looked up answers to the freezing part for the firmware update but I’ve encountered others as well on Reddit who have had the same problem, but no fix (posts were 2 years ago).3 problems I’ve had with this headset:1. No transmitter received (this issue was fixed, i thank you)2. Constant cracking/distortion noises (Will not hear anything at all from games, only “headset paired”, or other voice prompts)3. I can’t even update my firmware.I’m extremely disappointed because this is the second time I’ve contacted the turtle beach team for this specific headset. How unfortunate that a $150 product is almost completely useless. Hopefully I get a fix, or a refund or something. I’ll update this review in the future.

Sounds amazing. I didn't realize the 700 I bought was renewed when I purchased it. You can't even tell. Everything was sealed in plastic just like brand new. You can hear ppl trying to sneak up on you in COD and know exactly where they are.

This headset is pretty nice. The battery life is above average and the sound in great. It really does give you an advantage in multiplayer, I can hear people coming around a corner/above me etc.I took of 2 stars because the mic is terrible. I mean its not but it sounds bad. The mic is super sensitive, even with monitoring turned down all the way you can hear any noise in the background. The weird part is your friends can only hear it when you speak. If you talk the mic picks up everything on the first floor of my house, even dishes clinking in the kitchen 30 ft away. My friends tell me they cant hear any background noise until i say something and then it just picks up everything.I don’t regret this purchase because i got them used and play a lot of solo games. The sound is great and the headset is comfy, the mic just made this not the “upgrade” i was hoping for.
