This is a great little Sauder tool, it impressed me with how quickly it reached the desired temperature and its lightweight, easy to use, and a great addition to my RC tool box.

Gets the job done for the price. Have soldered over 20 new internal batteries for GBA Pokemon games with this thing and its still going strong. The cable can make it sit a bit weird when putting it to the side when heating up by pulling it a certain direction, but its a minor nitpick. It feels cheap, but its extremely sturdy and reliable.

Never soldered before, bought this to try and fix a pair of headphones instead of junking them. Worked great. Headphones: $60 value. Not a week later my computer mouse gives out. I open it up and just had to resolder the battery connection. Mouse: $50 value. Yesterday the furnace gave out, about to call the plumber when I check one more time and find a broken wire. Soldered it back on and it fired up again. Plumber: $300~. This little soldering iron has saved me so much headache and money over the past couple months.The product itself is okay. Comes with the soldering iron, a roll of soldering wire, some paste, various tips, and a stand. I'm no electronics expert but the build quality feels meh. No idea how accurate the temp gauge is but you do have some control over the temps. It's so light you could easily knock it off it's stand or wherever you set it while it's preheating. There's an indicator light that tells you when it's on or off, no other indicators for reaching temperature or whatever. The rubber cap/strain relief for the cable comes off super easily. That being said it heats quickly, holds it's temps, and the body of the iron stays comfortable to use while hot. The different tips were useful for working on different kinds of connections. Overall I've saved ten times the price of the soldering iron in repairs so I would recommend.

I’m always on the quest to find hobbies for my children that are not video game related. I found various soldering kits where kids or adults could learn how to solder and how electronics work and be able to build something like a little piano or a simple video game. We decided to get a few of these kits for my 14-year-old twins but first they needed a soldering kit. We bought two of these soldering kits in different colors so they could each have their own. The soldering irons work well and the supplies included were great to get them started. Overall I recommend these soldering iron kits for anyone who is learning how to solder or who just needs a soldering iron. This is a solid kit.

The gun works fine, temperatures seem close to display. However every tip that comes for the gun is too small diameter, and just falls out of the holder.

Worked well for a cheap Amazon iron. Get hot, holds temp. But after less than 2 months of use, the wire shorted out somehow and no longer works. Good enough to get the job done but not good enough for daily use.

Well worth the money 💰Easy to use and works great.
