The media could not be loaded. I could have purchased an enclosure with everything in it to make a single point ground for my ham shack, but I wanted to make my own.I liked the fact that the enclosure was $25 less than the one from a different vendor. I’m also like the fact that it’s Amphenol and made here in the USA. It’s sturdy plastic with overlapping edges on the door.It’s not as sturdy as the box made by Siecor that Bell Telephone installed 50 years ago. What is? That’s the standard I used for 5 stars for sturdiness and why I gave this box 4 stars.But this box is more adaptable to my needs.I ran it under a stream of water from my kitchen faucet for over a minute, which is far worse than it will ever endure on the side of my house under the eaves. No water got in. The video shows the water spray and the photo shows the interior immediately afterwards.I’ll mount a sheet of copper inside for use as a ground plane and attach the box to my house to bring my feed lines into the house and provide a place to mount lightning arresters which will be connected to the utility ground.

The box is well made and includes nice details, like the seals at penetrations and screw locations on a grid, making for flexible and secure device locations. Ariived fast.!

I purchased 2 of these and installed one on the outside, and the second inside with a conduit connecting the 2. This way all my outdoor Ethernet connections have 1 box they can all run to and just 1 hole that leads to inside. Once inside all the cables are contained in the box and route accordingly. Weather resistant and easy to install. Checks all the boxes i needed.

Only reason not to give this a 5 star review is because the lid does not have a rubber gasket like some more expensive boxes have. Still appears it will be weather resistant.

I used this to replace a smaller box used by the cable company since I wanted to install a surge protector for the cable coax and the CAT6 cables coming from this box into the house and needed the additional room. It seems to stay dry after a rain storm and mounted easily to the house. I had to cut a different hole in the back of the box for the cables going into the house since I wasn't able to align the provided knockouts with the cables due to another box above this one. I used some duct seal behind that new hole and it worked out fine. The mounting surface on the interior worked well for the short screws I used to attach the protectors to the enclosure. The catch on the side of the box holds the door closed properly, although I did add a small zip screw there just to ensure it wouldn't open accidentally and also just to make it a bit harder for some random person to come along and open it. I would recommend this enclosure.

I added my own ground plate to the inside and mounted a few lightning protection devices. It worked out well and has plenty of room to allow for bending heavy coax.

Worth the cost, easy to mount & hid all those messy cable wirings with cover & lock feature!

This box has a great seal and very durable over time.

Lo tengo para proteger un switch para unas camaras ip. La puerta usa un diseño contra agua sin empaque de goma pero parece que funciona no se le ha metido el agua. Mejor opción que otras cajas a las que les tienes que hacer tu los agujeros.

Got it as a outdoors electric box- doesn’t let water (and snow) in, and I’m pretty sure it will stay this way for the next 5 years at least. Box itself is pretty sturdy, clean and has lots of space- combined with additional slots to hook up and drag through your wires - it is really good. Got it delivered to AB in 2 days, pretty fast considering it is a US seller. Will recommend
