Fits better than the original
Just ordered these to replace the filter to the $14K hvac system I had installed back in September 24’. The installer put in a filter marked 20x25x4, but it didn’t fit. This new one here fits better than what the hvac company used.

Great At Filtering Dust!
These are such an improvement over my last filters. When using the last ones I purchased, I noticed LOTS of dust on furniture, baseboards, etc. these new Filtretes have really made a difference. I have tried other brands, but Filtrete seems to do a noticeably better job than other brands.

Quality Filtrete 20x25x4, AC Furnace Air Filter
After installing and using these filters in my HVAC system, I'm quite impressed with their performance. The 4-inch depth and deep pleating design provides excellent surface area for filtering, and I noticed less dust accumulating on surfaces throughout my home.The fit was precise in my unit - note that the actual dimensions (19.88" x 24.63" x 4.31") are slightly smaller than the nominal size, which is standard for proper installation. The MPR 1000 (MERV 11) rating hits a sweet spot between effective filtration of allergens and maintaining good airflow.One particularly convenient feature is the 12-month lifespan per filter, making this 2-pack essentially a two-year supply. The versatility to work with Honeywell and Lennox systems is a plus for homeowners. Highly recommended.

Works well and lasts a few months
I used to use 4” Honeywell filters but ended up getting filtrate filters due to price the last time I needed filters. I live in Texas and have dogs so lots of AC usage and also dog hair. I was very surprised how dirty these filters were compared to the Honeywell after the same amount of time (i change them after 5 summer months and then after 7 winter months since the units are used less over the winter time). Both Honeywell and filtrete work fine but my non-expert observation is these capture more impurities. The filtrete seem to be slightly better quality as they include some additional strengthening within the filter material although not a huge difference. The good thing is they seem to capture more dirt; the downside is they may need to be replaced more often than the Honeywell. If you don’t have dogs or cats, that difference may be insignificant.
