Arrived quickly in excellent condition...like new! The book is a total blast! Talk about inspiration-over the top. Great patterns and instructions-no two could ever look alike & that’s totally the fun of it.

I made some cute little simplified versions of the house ideas here with my grandchildren. Whimsical and cute. Some of the projects are more complex and more labor intensive than I wanted to do, but the book itself is really lovely and well done. I just extracted and did my own thing with the ideas presented and was very satisfied.

The book ordered, Fanciful Stitches, was exactly what I wanted. It arrived on time and was in excellent condition. The book discussed how to make small quilts in a quick, easy, decorative style. Expanded my knowledge of small quilts in a clean simple way.

If you get bored doing the same things over and over again, you will love this book. Each project has applique, machine stitching, hand and/or machine embroidery, and anything else you might like to add. I don't think you could make a mistake -- it would probably just enhance the end product. Also, it would be great for taking in a car or riding a bus as you would only have to take a few sewing items. It's great fun!! Also, a good way to use up scraps of fabric and embroidery threads.

This is a simple and fun book to learn the basics of applique art quilts! It's very colorful and well written. She covers the basics of applique and embroidery stitches using several delightful projects. This would be a great gift for the young girl or anyone just becoming interested in creating art quilts!

I love, love, love this book. All the projects are very whimsical. It shows you how to do many different stitches and the patterns are easy to follow. I bought a bunch of batik fabric in different colors to work with and have enjoyed this book thoroughly. I always go back to it when I need ideas.

Lots of lovely projects in this book, haven't made any yet though.

Beautiful book. It has full size templates for the trees, houses and everything else. I'm looking forward to making the little house on the front cover, and the lighthouse that is inside the book. The instructions are very clear, so for a beginner like me, it is very helpful.
