It was too long. The lanyard is BEAUTIFUL but did not work for me. I have 2 badges and a couple of keys that I have to carry around For some reason, with this lanyard - the stuff felt heavy around my neck. The magnet latch seem to rust/turn after a couple of weeks. I had to go back to using the lanyard I had before.

Very stylish for having to wear every day as a lanyard. I wear a lot of silver jewelry so this was perfect to accent my outfits, without having to add a necklace to my attire.My only complaint is that it gets snagged on sweaters, so I am cautious what I wear it with.

Finally! A beaded lanyard that doesn't break two weeks into it!I originally purchased another BooJeeBeads lanyard, and that one broke after a few uses. The other one was made with fishing wire and I saw that this was not, so I went for it. So glad I did!! Everyone admires this lanyard, it dresses up the outfits at work. I have been extra careful with it... when I take it off, I pull it over my head rather than pull on it to undo the magnet clasps, just in case (that's how the other one broke). There is one teeny tiny thing, though, which is that I always have to untangle this one because the magnet attracts the metals on the rest of this necklace, but that is a small price to pay for such a beautiful lanyard. I also like that the beads are CLEAR, not like the other one that was supposed to be clear but reflected purple and green so I couldn't match it with everything...

I like the magnet closure because I can open up the lanyard and wrap it around my waist as a belt, so that the badge hangs at the waist line on the side. However, the magnet is relatively weak and come easily unclasped. So I have to use another hook and safety pin to hook the badge. If the magnet comes unclasped, the lanyard hangs but it doesn't fall. I don't mind this, because the design is just so classic. This has worked well for about a year. Yes, the silver color wears off, but that's ok because the exposed metal is a coppery color and still looks nice. For those wanting color, Boojeebeads makes LOT of similar lanyards with lots of color.

A lot of folks seem to have gotten this lanyard since it's stylish but not necessarily for the breakaway feature (based on people saying they keep tying the ends together so they don't come apart). I got it because I work in an environment where, although I don't always need the breakaway, it's a necessary safety feature when I'm working in the machine shop. The breakaway magnets need to be just a little stronger. On my regular office days, this lanyard breaks away a little too easily. I'm not going to lose my badge because it's obvious if the thing comes apart, so I can grab it and put it back on. But still, a little more magnet strength would make this perfect. Otherwise, it's a fine product!

I ordered this in April 2016. I loved it. It lasted well after getting snagged a few times. I wear it daily at work. It was starting to lose it's luster, so I reordered it again in October 2016. The clasp, which I love, is magnetic. However, the new one has fallen off my neck several times. The one I bought in April never came off until I took it off. The new one has a longer magnet, so I wonder if it is less powerful. It is still very pretty and I love the look, but I don't like that it falls off during my work day.

I love this lanyard! I love the way it looks it doesn’t pull my hair in the back and it’s really pretty. The only negative is after like a year the silver starts to wear off and will itch my skin so this is actually the second time I’m buying one because I like it so much and for that pice you can’t beat it.

I ordered this because I have to wear ID badges for work,I love this...its very pretty....looks awesome on, and works wonderfully.I wore it to work today and got so many great compliments! The magnetic clasp on the back is perfect,it will not allow you to get stuck by the necklace part if you should get it stuck,it breaks away from the magnet! Great safety feature.I do not think the pictures do this justice,it is so very pretty and has a really nice presence,not a small piece but not too large to be gaudy.I will be looking for more in different colors also,but my favorite metal is white metal.

Love this necklace/ key card holder

I love the look of this necklace-like lanyard but after one week of use, it broke. One of the connecting magnets came out from its end and is now stuck in the opposite side, rendering the magnetic clasp useless. The magnet is strong enough that I have not been able to pry it out. Back to the ugly (durable) nylon lanyard for me...
