Great Purchase for my Home Studio DAW
I tend to buy refurbs for my hobby computers. This was purchased to run my home music recording studio set up. While man suggest Apple or gaming computers, this thing is shining in the studio! I've been working on DAW's including Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase and many different plugins and complimentary musical software programs. This is my 5th computer over the years of recording/mixing on a digital platform and this out performs everything to date by miles. If you work with Audio and/or video editing, don't be afraid to use a powerful "business" computer. There are many set-up suggestions online to help you maximize these windows based systems so that they perform without challenges very well and for a fraction of the price for other systems designed specifically for audio/video work.

You Can't Go Wrong With This One!
My gargantuan custom unit (LGA775/Q9650/DDR3) had outlived its life expectancy.I built it in 2010.Just to replace the Motherboard, Processor, and Memory, would have cost more than this unit! And, I also had become tired of the noise of all of the 140mm & 120mm fans, in my "Big Box".This Dell PC, is smaller, lighter, and much faster, without any issues, what so ever! It's "refurbished", but, aside from one tiny little side cover "ding", which really no one would notice, except me. This thing is really hard to tell from brand new! This machine, from these folks, is an excellent value, and I'd buy it again, for sure!Oh, and my old machine sucked up 155 Watts to run, this unit only consumes 21.2 Watts...EXCELLENT!

Totally happy with this computer
Everything works as advertised. I was a little disappointed that it had no CD ROM but I just scavenged one from one of my older systems and installed it in about 5 minutes. Super smart cheap upgrade. Not upgradable to Windows 11 but I'll work around that when Microsoft stops supporting Windows 10 in 2025. 240 watt power supply is a weak point but I put in an AMD RX-550 GPU that only draws 50 watts and it works great. Handles most games easily. The build was a little slipshod with the upgrades they did but I fixed those issues with a quick once over. Had to blow the dust out of it and re-mount the SSD. These rebuilds are a crap shoot but I think I got lucky. We'll see how long it holds up. Nicely designed case. Looks like new. Weighs a ton! Good cheap way to upgrade from an outdated system. The I7 processor is still pretty peppy, even though it's only 6th generation. Blows my old system away.

Great value for the price, but some flaws and a misleading listing.
Update 08-02-2023 I contacted the seller about the missing optical drive. The seller replied that they will not be sending an optical drive. This listing is misleading.Original Review:Now that it's up and running well, I like it. But there are a few issues, as follows.First was that the UEFI would not retain any changed settings. Even the date and time would return to default every time the machine was unplugged. I thought maybe the coin cell battery was bad, so I pulled it but it tested good. Then I found the issue. The coin cell battery socket was not making contact with the battery on the positive terminal, because the contact was bent. I fixed that and solved the issue.Second issue was the WiFi/Bluetooth. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/6199B4zZ4XL._AC_SL1080_.jpg The ad picture states "Built-in Wifi Bluetooth" but it's actually an EDUP pci-e X1 network card. That's not a big deal, in fact I would rather it be a pci-e card. The WiFi worked right out of the box with my WiFi 6.0 router. But the Bluetooth didn't work. Windows showed the Bluetooth icon, but it would not find or connect with any Bluetooth device. Device Manager reported it as a “Generic Bluetooth Adapter” I finally resolved this and got it working by installing “Realtek-FORCED-10x64-8852b_1.9.1051.3013-drp” driver I downloaded online. Now Device Manager reports it as a “Realtek Bluetooth Adapter” and I can connect to it.Last, the Amazon ad for the product clearly shows some kind of optical drive installed. Pictures of the product listed by STG Global, and a picture of what I received. I expected it to be probably a DVD-RW, but there is no optical drive at all. No optical drive is mentioned in the description, but it's in the picture so I expected one. The ad doesn't mention anything about the computer having a power supply either, but it's in the pictures and the product I received had a power supply.I'm planning to keep the computer. It's still a good value but it's not as pictured in the ad. It would be nice to have the optical drive. If the seller can get this issues resolved I would be willing to edit my review to reflect that fact.

Surprisingly good value
I'm quite pleased. No unexpected shortcomings. I ordered from STG Global. Excellent condition. Clean inside. Two cable snaps were not fully closed but it could have been intentional.Mine did not come with an optical drive, but one wasn't promised. Mine happened to have a 3TB 7200RPM disk, more than was promised. The 32GB is 2666MHz, higher than required - could probably be used on a future DDR4 motherboard.Contrary to one of the Q&As, Windows 11 is not supported on this processor - no surprise. This has an Intel Core i7-6700 @ 3.40Ghz. Windows 11 is officially supported starting at Gen 7. My plan is to replace the micro ATX motherboard in a few years if it's ever an issue. The PassMark rating was initially 24xx. After Windows Update, 25xx. After loading Dell.com provided drivers it's 29xx. The graphics is the weaker link. An add-on graphics card would always be an option. I run (an older) flight simulator and RC airplane simulator and the graphics is fine for that. The WiFi adapter card has external antenna and works well. The price has come down another few percent since I bought only a month ago. What a bargain!
