I hate flossing and my dentist recommended that I try a water pic to help get my teeth clean. I tried the water-pit brand but four d them very noisy. I read a ton of reviews and many pointed to Philips being quieter than the other top contenders. I first bought a Phillips countertop model and it worked great but took up more space than I wanted. I then bought this rechargeable model and it works great. I use it each night before bed. The battery life lasts for weeks!. The water flow is as powerful as the larger units and you don't have the hose to fight. It holds enough water to do all your teeth and is very easy to fill. Like any other water flosser you have to stay over the sink and keep your mouth mostly closed and cool the excess water into the sink as you floss. You know its working when even after you brushed your teeth you see tiny particles dropping into the sink as you floss :-)

Love this! Much easier to clean than other water flossers

I use this after I brush and floss at night and it does make my mouth cleaner after I use it than before. I wished the container that holds the water was a little bigger since it runs out before I feel like I am finished. It is easy to use and does not need recharging very often. I can understand why some people use it the shower, but I use mine bent over the sink. The only negative is that it takes a couple of tries to reattach the two halves correctly after filling it with water and before turning it on.

I never knew these things were so easy to use, and worked so well. I use it all the time. Battery life is good. Water capacity is good. I fill it with warm water every time.

I bought this product in October 2022 and it had died by March 2023. Not what I expected from a major consumer products company like Philips. Echoing some of the complaints voiced by others, about a month ago the unit started to give off a burning odor and I noticed that the charging cable and its plug-in receptacle on the unit looked as if they were starting to scorch/melt. I disconnected the unit from the electric outlet I was using to charge it for a day or two, and I bought a new USB charging cable (made by Amazon Basics). The unit then began to charge normally until about 10 days ago when it refused to hold a charge (and that has been the case ever since). A total waste of money. it is not worth the premium price charged by Philips. I would appreaicate if the company would refund my money or replace this product.

I’m so happy I got this. I already had a Sonicare toothbrush. I’m elderly, gums receding and have pockets.This is so easy to use. Easier than flossing. The water flushes out debris that still remains after brushing and regular flossing. Amazing how many tiny particles may be left after flossing. I also swish with mouthwash to combat bacteria.I can’t repair my receding gums, but I’m hopeful my next dentist visit will be a good report.Update Nov 2024: My first dental cleaning after using the water flosser 3 months was easier and faster than ever before! There simply wasn’t much plaque for the hygienist to chip away with her sharp tool. I was amazed!Don’t have second thoughts. Buy this. You’ll enjoy your healthy gums and worry-free dentist visits.

I have used many flossers over the years and this one (as far as I'm concerned) is the best one out there! Holds a charge for quite a while. Easy to hold. Comes with two heads. You can add water from either the side or remove the water casing. It's cordless and has 3 intensities and 2 flossing modes (great features).But what I really like, is that after 30 seconds, it kinda stops and then restarts. For me, this tells me where I should be when using this flosser on my teeth - really like this feature! I've purchased two of these flossers and well worth the money spent! I could never get my husband to use a flosser, but with this one - he uses it every day! WinWin in my book!

I have used several brands of waterflosser in the past. This particular model has the best water pressure that's not too weak or too strong. I love the 15 seconds timer that tells you when to move to different location. The only problem I have with this model is that I can't register for warranty online because the model, HX3806/21, was not listed. Very frustrating to register.Edit: 10/16/23I had this machine for less than a year. Now the battery is completely dead, will not charge. Extremely disappointed.
