10-Frame Beehive Box Langstroth Deep Brood Box Dipped in 100% Beeswax Includes Wooden Frames & Waxed Foundations (Unassembled)

I was impressed with the quality and took about 30 min to Install no difference in brood boxes I've bought from the shops and I saved $$$

New to bee keeping, got an 8 frame starter kit without realizing I'd need a second box fairly soon so I ordered this unassembled kits which was a little cheaper than one that comes together and probably saves some shipping costs. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble, pre-drilled countersunk holes for the provided screws make it very easy for any novice to assemble and it looks professionally made when done. Frames are easy to assemble, takes about 2 minutes per frame if that. Very happy with this brand and they have great customer service. My shipment was delayed a couple times but they stayed on top of it.

I am so happy with these hive boxes. They go together easily and my bees have no issue with them. I love that I am able to easily get these in in a short amount of time. I now have a couple on stand bye.

Previously my husband made all of his hives and frames. We came across the MayBee 8 frame hives and thought they looked well made and the price was very reasonable so we thought we would give them a try. We are very pleased. They are VERY well made and went together quickly.Thank you for a good product at a reasonable price!!! We are very happy with our purchase!!

First, the box is dipped in parafin wax, not bees wax. Wrong texture and color. The foundations were dipped in bees wax, and the frame is plain wood. My bees would not take to the foundations, just build around them on the floor and walls. I tried everything including rubbing them with the bees own comb, sugar spray and pheromone. Nothing worked and they ran away, never to return. Maybe it’s the plastic they’re made from, it did not smell like beeswax, but plastic.

I love how this hice is built and how it fits together. If you plan on painting the hive, just remember it is wax dipped. I tried to sand the wax off and thought I did a good job but months later I am noticing bubbling since it is now like 100 degrees outside. I will definitely not buy a wax dipped hive in the future since I prefer my hives to be painted on the exterior.
