I'm a late stage breast cancer survivor, and brain fog has been a real and difficult part of my life in the 6 years since treatment (I'm still on tamoxifen, which studies show contributes to or causes cognitive difficulties - it most assuredly DOES).Brain fog, athletic recovery (I box and workout most days of the week), sleep, boosting my immune system, combatting fatigue, and of course, preventing cancer from returning are all reasons why I have been experimenting with different mushroom products.There are many studies that support the use of the mushrooms in this blend for helping the above.I like that this product comes with a scoop. It's easy enough to put a scoop in my coffee in the morning. It's a little earthy tasting and a little gritty, though if you keep it stirred, it's not bad. I see in the comments that many people can't taste it. I can. Sometimes I add a little more water to the last sip to make sure I can swirl it all up into the liquid, as it doesn't dissolve. I like that it's organic. The price point is reasonable.Focus: I have experienced fewer moments of getting lost in my own kitchen ("What am I doing? Why am I here?") while taking it. I've taken it daily for 2-3 weeks now. The brain fog has mostly lifted unless I don't sleep well.Sleep: I have been sleeping better, but this also coincides with sleeping in UA Recovery Sleepwear, which I now swear by. My fitbit average sleep score has gone from the low 70s to low 80s - which I reckon is like getting Bs instead of Cs in school.Athletic recovery: this has more to do with overall health, and sleep. Improvement in sleep means improved athletic recovery, as my diet is exemplary.Energy: my energy levels have been improved. It's not that I'm more energetic, but like the difference between walking around on a cloudy/drizzling day vs a sunny but cool one. I'm more awake, more focused, and the fatigue doesn't hit me as frequently. I feel more myself.Immune system boost: I have had a weak immune system since cancer treatments. So far this winter (now it's the end of January) I've been exposed to flus, colds, and the Noro virus and have just gotten a couple of colds that have been very annoying but not debilitating. Last winter I was sick every couple of weeks with something new. I also take 1000mg of vitamin C daily, and have ordered AHCC to start taking addition to this to further boost my immune system. AHCC did wonders for my immune system and to reduce the symptoms while going through chemotherapy. AHCC is a bit more miraculous, but very expensive. For a healthy immune system, I think that this mushroom blend would provide a very good boost, whereas for a more compromised one, I'd recommend AHCC either instead or in addition to this.Cancer prevention: so far so good. I recommend reading studies about the link between various mushrooms and cancer prevention. This is a long term thing. Certainly, anyone who has ever had cancer fears it coming back. The research shows that mushrooms of many kinds (including white button mushrooms) are helpful in prevention and some in treatments of cancers.Overall, I think that this is a good product, and an excellent way to get a variety of mushrooms which have definitely given my focus, energy, and immune system a boost. It's not magical, but it's good. Too often we look for a magic cure-all so that we can neglect important aspects of self care (sleep, nutrition, exercise). This is a strong boost to all of the things that your body needs in order to function optimally.

Fior my age (76) it helps me to get more done and I have been sleeping better now that I stay busy a longer time. I cut lawns in the summer time and this is going to help me, thanks.

I hate the texture and taste of mushrooms. But I kept reading about the benefits of them and I wanted to try them in a way I wouldn't have to taste them. These hit the nail on the head. No flavor. Easy to swallow.Now I was a bit skeptical about the benefits of mushrooms but I am willing to try new things. I suffer from chronic insomnia, ptsd, anxiety, and chronic depression. I am so desperate to feel normal. My anxiety is better on my meds then it was but still not 100%. I am taking meds but I always wake up groggy as hell in the morning. Like danger to be on the road, pass out at the wheel, narcoleptic almost. i don't "wake up" until I have 3 energy drinks in me and 2 hours under my belt. It makes me feel like garbage. And it barely gets me going. And let's be honest energy drinks are so bad for you. Like man I'm lucky I haven't had a heart attack. I also think I have a case of adhd, I'm waiting to get diagnosed. Or it's my depression. But I have a real hard time focusing. I start projects, burn out, get distracted, lose focus. Then my projects end up never being done. I don't remember the last time I finished a project. I'm at the end of my rope. When my doctor asks how I'm doing, I'm medicated but I'm never at a 0 for my depression and anxiety. And I feel like my brain just does not work 90% of the time. Which stresses me out so much.Now, I'm only on the first week of these mushroom pills and I am feeling a huge difference. I'm finishing projects. Big projects I've been so overwhelmed with. I'm more focused now then I've been in so very, very long. Yes I still have brain fog. But man. It's not all consuming. It's less thick. I'm feeling less anxious. I'm feeling more grounded. I am not overwhelmed. Which is why I started the mushrooms. This is what I was looking for. Focus.Now. The benefits that surprised me is how I have been waking up in the morning. I didn't have an energy drink this morning to help me shake of my meds. I Rolled out of bed and got SO MUCH done. I didn't have to wait around for 2 hrs for my brain to catch up to my body. I did a big project last night and finished it kinda late. I went to bed and slept pretty good. On my meds I normally have to get like 8 hrs of sleep. I got up on just a few hours and conquered the day like a boss. I'm so impressed. Where have you been all my life. I can't wait to get more shit done tomorrow and not be burnt out and out of energy am hr in.I also feel like I'm not craving things or very hungry. But maybe that's something else.I'm going to keep up with them. I can't wait to see the long term.

Calm product is amazing. It calms and gives me a good sleep. I am very relaxed. Only drawback is the pill is too big to swallow. That's why I had to take 1 star.

I just started taking the "Ulimate', so this isn't a review on results. I had some comments on other reviews. Taste? I like the slightly earthy taste which is very slight. Folks would likely be better off switching coffees *wink*. I drink Peets Major Dickason's Blend which is a dark coffee. Lighter coffees or teas might not balance the earthiness as well. I like the "Ultimate' as it seems to add to my beverage choices' complexity.I am also very researched on these type fungal and probiotic supplements. These are most beneficial scientifically for older people and usually offer little benefits to folks under 40. Uhm, you don't need them youngsters. Your bodies still absorb and create the necessary youthful ingredients of Life. Not true as you age. You can research and see double-blind placebo-based studies online. Don't listen to some Rando [Me!] Looking forward to some improved overall benefits as I was previously only taking Lion's Mane alone.
