Pyrex Prepware 4-Quart Rimmed Glass Mixing Bowl, Clear

This is a replacement for the same bowl I've had for years that was part of a 4pc set. They have different colored plastic lids - this is the largest one with the red lid. I still have the lid to this but the bowl recently went missing.I use this all the time. I use it for salad, especially salad I'm transporting somewhere. It's great to put dough in to rise, esp overnight in the fridge. I like to make instant pudding it... just the right size to use a hand mixer and store any left over.In short, a roomy, versatile mixing/storage bowl in one.You can get replacement lids for these bowls too, but you have to get the whole set of lids. I think you can also get this bowl by itself - with the lid -on Amazon.

Really nice size for baking bread. It's really improved my bread rising game. Heavy duty and nice quality. It's a bit larger than I expected, but it ended up working out really well. The angle of the sides is such that bread seems to really like to expand, as compared to a bowl where the bread needs to rise more vertically; this bowl seems to allow it to rise up and outward, resulting in a nicer rise I think. 5 stars for sure.

This is a fine pyrex bowl. It holds things well. It cleans up like any other pyrex bowl. How durable it is, I can't say: it's still fine after (...checks notes...) two weeks of use. If you need a pyrex bowl, this is a working example of such.
