Vijiv 1920s Vintage Inspired Sequin Embellished Fringe Long Gatsby Flapper Dress

I absolutely love this dress! I'm amazed of the quality of it as well. It is amazing for the price. I originally ordered this dress in small and also medium (in the red color) because I was so unsure of what would be the right size. The medium fit well, especially on my hips but the waist and chest was a bit baggy to where it just looked a little sloppy. I could've gotten away with this size but once I tried on the small it fit perfectly in my waist and chest but the hips were just a tad tight (I have a bit wide hips lol) so the skirt kept twisting from the friction of my thighs when I walked, to fix this I wore a slip under the dress and that eliminated the friction so the skirt stopped twisting when I walked. After adding the slip the dress was perfect! I did lose a few pieces of fringe throughout the night but nothing drastic to where it was noticeable. The dress still looks perfect and I would definitely buy this again! For reference, I weigh about 135lbs, am 5'5", and my chest is 32D

Beautiful dress, fast shipping and fit well.

The dress is beautiful and looks high quality. I'm 5'8" and the lining ends about an inch above the knee, with the fringe extending about an inch below the knee, so I feel completely covered bending down or dancing. The big drawback for me is that the zipper is on the side and starts an inch from the top of the side of the dress so you have to put it over your head. The boatneck opening is really tight so you will ruin your hairdo putting it over your head and you will rub makeup over the dress. Also, the dress bunches up as you put it over your head so you have to shimmy the dress over the rest of your body and risk getting deodorant marks on the dress as well. In order to take it off, you need to lift your arms all the way over your head. Small openings to put on and take off are my pet peeve so I wanted to make buyers aware since none of the reviews I read mentioned a side zipper. Other than that, felt pretty true to size, the color is beautiful and as reflected on Amazon and the dress is overall gorgeous.

Perfect dress for my anniversary trip to Paris. Absolutely breath-taking sight at the intricate design pattern and detail on this dress. Received many compliments. So glad I came across this dress.

Fit like a glove! Well made, beautiful dress

I purchased this dress for an evening out to the SF Opera. I did not order this as a costume and was hoping that it would fit the bill.It came a day later than originally expected but it was still ok. I’m 5’7 1/2 and about 175lbs and I’m on the heavier side of my normal weight, currently with a 38DD. I ordered a LARGE! And fit impeccably. I was quite impressed with the fit. VERY COMFORTABLE. You can see by the photos that it didn’t ride too high under my armpit, no rubbing. It was a lovely pattern of sequins, lightweight, NOT SEE THROUGH, fantastic side zipper - I can be picky and this was great but from pulling it out of the package a thread was hanging at about the bustline and some of the fringe at the hemline was uneven (see photos) the neckline was perfect. I could have made a few snips and wore this dress. But I decided to wear another dress and return this one. I want to find the RIGHT Art Deco dress with enough time to complete the entire look. Again, not for a costume party but for an elegant and surprising twist on a “going out dress”. I would recommend this one but please proceed with caution as it’s not perfect but we are talking less than a $60 dress so all things considered it’s worth the dollars spent!

This dress fit like a glove and is a pretty high quality for the price. I wore it to a Roaring 20s-themed party and got a ton of compliments! I’m 5’3.5” and about 135 lbs/36C, and the medium was perfect— hugged my curves from the hips to my knees, and had just a bit of breathing room in the waist without looking baggy. Exceeded my expectations!
