This book is just okay! I couldn't find a way to scan before purchase, so I just went by luck! Half of the book, has step by step drawing techniques which I wasn't crazy about since it looked like it was worked on a drawing software instead of physical old school drawing. The other half of the book has full face drawings for I guess the advanced artist. This book only contain mostly face drawings! Not a good book if you're looking for detail. Most of the hairstyles were filled in with black. Most of the full face drawings had long Jerry curl black hair that I didn't care for since Black people has a variety of textured hair. No regrets, but not the book I had in mind! No prior preview, no purchase next time! The artist has nice drawings, but the breakdown needs to be better!

The book is nice but it’s misleading. Nowhere in this book does it show you how to draw black people or anything else. It’s just a bunch of pics of black people drawn in different styles with a blank page next to it telling you to draw it. But it doesn’t tell you HOW!Also the blank pages are thin so it shows you the image that’s on the other side. I guess you can trace that image. But the page is really to draw the image on the left side of the page. Which could be distracting if you see a totally different image shining through.It's more of a coloring book/sketch book. NOT A HOW-TO.If you already know how to draw and want a book to copy draw then this is the book for you. But if you’re trying to learn and looking for a tutorial, this is not it AT ALL.

This book is a scam not an instructional book. Amazon should have vetted this book before listing for sale

If you are expecting a step by step to drawing faces find another book. This book has multiple completed sketches with blank pages titled “It’s time to draw” which is not helpful for beginners.

The book is meh. It wasn't really what I was inspecting for a drawing book.
