Attractive, accurate, reliable, durable, under-the-radar
I travel a lot and wanted something that would be attractive, durable, reliable, and that would not attract too much unwanted attention (the way some more expensive Swiss brands sometimes do). Seikos have a well-earned reputation for solid reliability, and this watch had the features I was looking for:- Solar quartz movement - accurate and won’t need a battery change- A dive watch - I’m often in watery destinations and this will do nicely. And divers tend to be durable.- Outstanding lume - I regularly consult my watches at night. Seiko has the *best* lume I’ve seen.Seiko always provides an excellent finish and value-for-money. The blue dial and bezel are very nicely done and are a pleasure to behold. I like the rubber strap; it’s comfortable, makes the watch easier to lend to a friend, and is appropriate for a dive-style watch. The watch feels rugged and I’m confident that it will continue to perform well.

Another Excellent Seiko
I’ve worn Seikos for 50yrs with no problems or failures of any kind.Needing a replacement for my aging Seiko Kinetic, I stumbled upon this Solar Prospex (I’d avoided solar watches in the past, preferring self-winding automatics) and the more I studied it, the more intrigued I became.I ordered the blue-faced version as the black-faced version I usually order was out of stock.Long story short, I’m coming to really like the blue, it’s aesthetically pleasing without being ostentatious. So far this Prospex solar is rugged, comfortable , accurate and a worthy successor to the long line of Seikos that have come before it.My only (very minor) complaints are the metal strap hold-down tends to slide over off the end of the strap (easily remedied with a new strap) and I’d like to see a cyclops magnifier over the date (needed for aging eyes).5 stars, another winner from Seiko!

Best Watch On The Planet
I recently bought a SEIKO King Turtle in green, love the watch —- except it looses 2-3 minutes a day. I count on exact time for business meetings - so I ordered this solar Seiko and it is spot on and accurate to the second. Very impressed. I know you can adjust automatic watch’s like the King Turtle, but then you deal with the seal and if you’re not a pro…. Well I love this watch! And the BLUE is amazing. Better Lume than the Turtle too.

Worst purchase experience. Very poor quality!!!
I ordered the first one and about 10 days later the watch was becoming inaccurate so I returned it and ordered the same one. After I got the new one, I noticed the watch was not accurate and also the seconds arm and minutes arm were not matching whatsoever. I don't recommend this model to anyone!!!

great watch
the blue dial is awesome. the watch is solar so it's very accurate. the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the rubber band is uncomfortable and cheap. I recommend this watch with a band upgrade!

Perfect daily driver Seiko diver
I have several seiko dive watches and this is the one I will be wearing every day. Keeps perfect time, looks great, atomic level lume at night, bezel not as satisfying to turn as other divers but gets the job done and feels sturdy. I am not a huge fan of the seiko bands so bought a navy replacement which is no big deal. Perfect watch for this price.

Upscale, rugged design
This is a sleek diver's watch with a nice, comfortable look. It's exactly what's advertised. If you don't like flexible rubber wristbands, don't but this one. There are plenty of Seiko selections with metal bracelets. It's fairly substantial, but not cumbersome. The blue look is good (if you like blue). Everything is easy to read and the hands/markers glow well in the dark. I've only had it a few days, so I'll update this review in a few years.

Light and Dependable
I love everything about this watch. It’s light enough to use all day.Durable to withstand anything you throw at it.Highly recommend.Once in a while let it sit in the sun to fully charge battery; unless you are an outdoor person.
