Nice switches. Use a resistor!
These worked perfect for a little power supply build. Just the right size and plenty beefy enough. For those who keep giving bad reviews about the led light burning out or running it on 5 or 12 or other direct supply voltages, you need to read up on how to power led’s. LEDs of that size usually burn no more than 3.5v’s and draw about 15 mA’s. Always, always use a current limiting resistor in line with an led. My power supply as you can see will supply 14.25 volts dc. Subtract 3.5 from 14.25 and you get 10.75 volts. Divide that by the amount of current you want to burn your led at and there’s your resistor size (or the next size closest to that number.) You can put the resistor in-line with either the positive or negative lead by the way, doesn’t matter. Without this resistor the led will just burn away at the maximum current it can draw out of your supply and die a miserable death in quick order. So for example: 10.75/.015=716.6…I’m running a 680 ohm and it’ll last for years. So, divide the voltage your supply is giving minus the 3.5 volts by .015 or .020…most people burn led’s in the 15-20 mA range…and your light will be happy for a very long time.I think the supplier here assumed most people would know this so it’s not included in the description anywhere but…there ya go.Good latching switch though, feels good when operated and looks good too. Glad I got ‘em.

5V Lights the LED
LED works with 5V and 12V, havent tested any other voltages, but that's what my power supply has. A rudimentary wiring diagram is included. But what you can do for the button is set your mulit meter to beep mode (continuity actually , it has a symbol that may look like wifi) When the probes make contact to each other you get a beep. now hunt around on the contact for two pins that beep when button is unpressed, and then push the button in, and hunt around again for two pins that beep. You will see that one pin is involved in both cases. You dont NEED to use the LED for this button to work, its only decorative and the LED works independantly of the button being up or down. Also, you dont need to use all three pins on the button, just the 2 that you want, either button up or button down.

Seem to be really good
I've had some switches go bad on my boat and was unable to located the original boca branded switches. These seem to be near exact replacements for the boca switches on a key west 219fs switch panel. It was literally plug and play with the same size (very small) spade connections. I'll have to see how they hold up in the salt environment.

Overall I'm happy with the switches
So the switches are nice, look incredibly clean. I like that they came with pigtail connectors and even the stickers for indicating what the functions are. My only complaint is that the wire colors in the pigtails don't correlate with the diagram given for wiring. I did a quick bench test to see if I should go off of wire location in the plug or if I should use the colors to wire everything. Ended up being the wire location in the pigtail connector used in the diagram was correct even though the actual wire colors were wrong. This was a little confusing as I was wiring them up using the red wire as the ground. Overall I'm very happy with them. I just wired them up last night so we'll see how they hold up over time. If I have any problems I'll update my review

Switch is Fun and Functional
Switch works properly.Light is still plenty bright for when I connected it at 5V instead of 12V.The wiring harness has the black and red wires reversed.
