I have just moved house and wanted to turn half of my double garage into a workshop. I have a lathe, milling machine and metal band saw. In my previous house I had built a solid wooden work bench, but this left some things to be desired - mainly I could not move it as it was secured screwed to the wall.As I am now retired and want to get straight on with the metal work, rather than building more workbenches I trawled Amazon for a suitbale workbench. This one seemed ideal. There is room to fit my lathe (which is a 4" chuck and only about 750mm long) and it will fit perfectly. There ia drawer to install many of my lathe accessories, and the shelf at the top to put other items. The clip board at the back came complete with 12 hooks and these can be used for verious tools - once again to have to hand.I have taken a picture of the bench as it is now. My lathe does not arrive for a few more days - along with lots of furniture! But it is nice to have been able to provide somewhere to put it in its final positiion, without having to leave it on the floor and possibly damaging it. Assembly was straightforward and the only need for nuts and bolts is to hold the peg board to the rear of the unit. Once assembled it is very sturdy.I find the drawer exceptionally useful. It is wide, slides easily, and has plenty of readily accessible space for the various tools which one needs to hand when metal working. Please note that in the photo I am just using it to store things on a temporary basis. One does need a lot of tools for use with a lathe and these will be very handily positioned in the drawer. Similarly the shelf on the top of the unit.In short, this arrived within two days of placing the order. I assembled it within about 30 minutes. I used a block of wood to prevent damage from gentle hammer blows. It is simple to move to the required location and is certainly sturdy enough to support my metai working tools. I wish I had bought one to use in my previous house. Life would have been much better.I must repeat my heading. This is a great work bench and my garage will be a better place for it.

Some reviewers seem to be very happy with this, but I am rather disappointed. It is very flimsy and poor quality. I wanted to use it as an electronics work bench. The test instruments would stand on the over-bench shelf. As designed it is completely unsuitable for this. The over-bench has a sheet of 3mm hardboard just stood inside the thin steel frame. I was able to push the hardboard out with moderate force. I had to obtain some 18mm MDF, drill holes in the frame and then screw the MDF in. This made the over-bench shelf much stronger, but when I stood an oscilloscope on it the whole thing wobbled backwards and forwards. I am therefore going to have to add some support struts.The bench top is hard board and just stood in place. The drawer is flimsy with a loosely fitted hardboard bottom.I would rather have paid more for something fit for purpose. These days I always seem to end up having to modify everything that I buy.

Relatively easy to put together - you do need a rubber mallet.The only awkward part was assembling the drawer - this would best be done with 2 people: one to steady the work whilst the other fitted the parts together. Be careful if you do it on your own as the drawer mechanism will slide and when you use the rubber mallet to complete assembly be very careful to ensure the drawer cannot move as I inadvertently managed to snap one of the pop rivets holding the sliding mechanism in place (repaired with small brass nut and bolt). The drawer itself does not particularly fit well and needs a nudge to shut it.The peg board has non-standard measurements between holes so if you separately buy additional items for the peg board the majority will not fit - I intend to drill additional holes to accommodate these parts once I have worked out what to put where.Once assembled the workbench looks good, feels good and takes the weight it says it will.Overall very good value compared to same/similar product on sale elsewhere.

Instructions are complete dog water, I ended up with 2 peices left over that in the end I couldn't be bothered to attempt to disassemble to add in I just left them out.. However everything else is really good, very sturdy and also pretty lightweight considering. Or maybe I just had that many spare parts left over.. You decide.

I got this near on a year ago. Added a strip light to the underneath of top shelf. It makes the best craft table. I must add, it took me over 2 hour to put together, BUT I did it on my own (IM PROUD OF THAT) so recommend a helping hand. But I do recommend this table.

The work bench showed up damaged on many of the key joints, it took a lot to put it together as the instructions are not worth the paper they are printed on. If they took more care with how they packaged this bench it would be so much better.

The product arrived in time. There was a packaging error and I received two left runners instead of one left and one right runner so I contacted the seller and he sent me a replacement very quickly. This is a really good quality product and I'm pleased with it. I have shared a photo of the assembled bench for you to witness.

Instructions very basic and Video not much better. ply shelve / work bench warped and they do not fix to bench, overall for the money it’s probably fair but if you want more than a diy bench I would look further
