I love these cameras, I have 12 of them around my property. Military vet, and I LOVE my property locked down tight. These cameras have not let me down.I have no issues with the night vision, and it is comparable to others on the market (with more expensive cameras being 5% better with IR, and 130% more expensive). If you need more Infrared coverage, they sell IR spotlights that will fix your problem way cheaper than buying a more expensive camera.The app and settings have their own small issues, but nothing compared to the numerous others I have run through, whose issues were not tolerable. There are not a ton of instructions, but if you do what the app says, and listen for the sound cues, you will be alright.I think the biggest gripe is that if you need customer support for the products you buy, you are more likely to get a credible Vice article than get help from their customer support team. Tried for literally months to get help with their cloud service, and get a couple of simple questions answered. Literally no response 6 months later. My research on their site said they had a separate app for it, but that article is OLD. Their sign up says its directly in the app, but I never saw anything more than what my memory cards were holding, still trying to work that out.Overall, a great buy. The cameras will not disappoint, but their customer service will. These are excellent 2k HD cameras with very clear pictures and color night vision. I have several other LaView cameras so I was able to set them up with the existing app and see all the cameras on my phone. You can also share one or more cameras with others, individually so you can pick and choose which ones to share. It's like a high end security system without the high end cost!Setup is easy, especially if you already have the LaView app, just add them to your exiting network of cameras. Here's a surprise bonus -- they work with 5g WiFI.There are lots of features -- 2 way audio, event recording (or non-stop if you like), built in spotlight, status indicator (which you can turn off), night mode (infrared or color), scheduler, various detection settings, and a built-in micro-SD slot up to 128GB so you don't have to pay for cloud service. You can easily view real time movement, or review recordings by date and time. All images and videos can be be easily exported or shared. It has basically every kind of setting you could want or need. These have even more features than the older models, of which I have 3 on my network.Even though they're outdoor cameras, you can use them indoors as well. I've had nothing but good experiences with LaView cameras and this set of 4 solid and durable cameras are of the same high quality I've come to expect. Combined with my indoor cameras, I now have every inch of my property under surveillance, all viewable on one screen on my iphone or ipad. Simply awesome!

I got these LaView cameras to replace some older security cameras we’ve had in our backyard – we have chickens, and have been having problems with predators at night. Our old cameras had very poor, grainy nighttime footage. These new ones were very easy to install – – the bracket system is easy to screw on/clip on the camera.The nighttime color vision is really superb. The event recording and motion detention are very useful, functional, and just what I need.These cameras have good reception with my Wi-Fi, even without an external antenna, which some of the older cameras relied on.Linking these cameras to my Wi-Fi is not the most straightforward thing, and I wish it wasn’t limited to 2.4 GHz. But set up just took a few extra minutes more than I wanted it to, and the function on 2.4 GHz is fine, once I set up a dedicated Channel on my Wi-Fi.All in all, I am very pleased with these cameras. I looked at many other options, and for the price and features, these LaView cameras are exactly what I need/want.

It uses the LaView app which if you have any other of their cameras they work on the same app so they will all be in the same place.
