A Great French Press Coffee Maker
I replaced my old Bodum French press because the flimsy tempered glass finally broke. This French Press is easier to use than its predecessor, is sturdier, and makes fine coffee. I highly recommend it!

N8ce little press
This is my first experience with a French press, I'm really liking it. Once I got the hang of things, it works really well. You have to pre-warm it with hot water, but keeps the drink hot while brewing. I like the double screen filter, you get a tiny bit of "sludge", but no grounds. I'm not sure about how durable it will be, seems like regular fragile glass, not the borosilicate glass (but I could be wrong). And the (real!) metal part does get very hot! Realized that the hard way (hadn't had my coffee yet!). All in all, it's a very nice little gadget, perfect size for the two cups I drink at a time (but would hold more), nice looking, simple to use. I will use it gently, and hope it lasts. Very good price, so if it breaks I would get another.

Easy to use and clean!
I primarily bought this for camping, but have enjoyed making coffee and tea in it at home as well! If you like your beverages kept very hot you may want to invest in an insulated version. This works fine for my needs.I did struggle finding a breakage resistant container for taking it camping...until I was ready to recycle the box it came in. The light bulb came on. Hang onto that box and take this baby camping with you!

Easier & better than expected
Even though I used my regular Kirkland ground coffee it brewed perfectly. My Keurig is on it's last leg, and I didn't want to spend a fortune for a coffee pot again. This $14.99 French press coffee tastes far better than the coffee out of the Keurig. It's much easier to make and faster to brew. I don't need those cumbersome filters that are a bother to wash. I boiled water in my whistling tea pot. Then let it rest so it wasn't at a full boil. During these few minutes I put hot water in the carafe and let hot water run around the outside as instructed so you're not pouring piping hot water into a cold Carafe which might crack it, common sense. After 3 mins. of brewing l poured it into my large thermos, l always use to carry my coffee on my walker. I imagine l can set the carafe up on my coffee table & bring the hot water in the tea pot to it. There wasn't a speck of grounds in the brew. Smooth, rich, delicious. I stirred it with a wooden spoon & composted the grounds when done removing them easily with a spatula.

My top 6 reasons I love this French Press
Using a glass French press allows you to have a clear view of the brewing process - which I find interesting (the geek in me). Additionally, the improved features of this glass French press, such as a more durable construction which supports the glass (I also appreciate the narrower pour spout ) and the double screened filtration system, can enhance the overall brewing experience and result in a better cup of coffee. I've had this coffee press awhile now so this review is long overdue.Reasons I like this French Press...:1) Flavor: French press brewing allows for full immersion of coffee grounds, resulting in a robust and flavorful cup of coffee. The metal screen filter in a French press allows natural oils and fine particles to pass through, which can contribute to a richer taste compared to paper filters used in drip coffee makers.2) Control: With a French press, you have more control over the brewing process. You can adjust variables like water temperature, steeping time, and coffee-to-water ratio to customize your brew according to your preferences. Some days (like when I feel like I was hit by a mac truck )I want my coffee thicker than tar.....3) Body and texture: French press coffee has a fuller body and a slightly thicker texture compared to drip or percolator coffee..... Which is why when I went to a French Press I never looked back. The difference in taste is incomparable4) Simplicity: French presses are relatively simple to use and require minimal equipment. They don't rely on electricity or complex mechanisms.(If your power goes out - can you still make great tasting coffee?) I have taken my French Press to work, out camping and traveling.5) Environmentally friendly: French presses eliminate the need for disposable paper filters, reducing waste and environmental impact. This might not seem like a major point , but, for me - every bit in reducing waste counts.6) (Don't hold this against me!)I can also use this French Press for a big pot of delicious herbal tea at night in the winter. I'm a big believer in medicinal herbs and if a cough comes along I might make marshmallow root tea or Licorice root tea... or even dandelion tea.....So yes, to French Press....

Pretty Good for the price
I would have loved the top to have been stainless steel rather than plastic, but it functions well. Remember.. course grind, not fine ground coffee is required.

Perfec!
Visually appealing and looks great at my personal coffee station on the counter. I use it for cold press coffee in the summer and French press in the winter. Easily uses all types of grind courseness.
