This is a beautiful microwave, and it's so nice to have stainless steel inside, instead of white plastic. This however does not mean that you can use metal inside of the microwave... You can't, Just the two pieces that come with the microwave. I found it very easy to use and it definitely heats up quicker than most microwaves. A decent price point. It was only $30.00 more than what walmart was selling at for at the time. Everyone else is out of this microwave, So, if you're interested I would buy it quick.I also ordered 2 of those silicone flat circles. To cover the glass tray. I also bought one of those splash guard lids. Buy the most expensive one because the others are not the same. You want to get the one that has the steamholes all around the side, The larger one that was almost twelve inches to fit the glass.

Each time I use my microwave, I marvel at its durability & POWER!January 2025 will be 5 years since I bought this one & I’ll def. buy one exactly like this one.It’s not just great for microwaving but for baking & as a standard oven too.The only issue I’d say is a SLIGHT DRAWBACK, it takes a good 3 minutes to preheat as an oven. But actually, so does my standard oven.And this Toshiba is big enough to roast a Turkey or bake a big cake.If you have the room & want a versatile device to microwave AND bake, get this appliance. It’s worth every Penny.Just Love it even after FIVE YEARS!

unit is now 4 years old and is no longer working making a loud thumping noise wonder if it can be repaired or junked

Didn’t make it a year !My microwave seemed to be great when we got it as a gift moving in to our new home ! Picked it out because of size, bake feature and price. But after 10 months it began NOT heating intermittently so that I didn’t notice enough to flag the one year warranty!Then 2 days ago it left me with frozen veggies and uncooked potatoes at 10PM after an work night. Calling Toshiba in the morning I was hopeful they would help !NO ! THEY REFUSED! Stating my microwave was past the one year warranty.Regardless of the incidents I told about malfunctioning months prior, pictures to prove I owned the microwave.. they flat out REFUSED to do ANYTHING!Not even offer a discount on another Toshiba microwave- NOTHING!Just a frank letter of sorry past the warranty can’t help you.In further reading - Toshiba microwaves are NOT well made according to the new consumer reports .I concur !Beware of any Toshiba microwaves! They do not last a year- and a day after you are SOL on the major company helping you out !Kathy⚓️

This is much more than just a microwave. It is quite powerful. I have yet to have time to explore all its functions. It is much larger than I had envisioned. It is large indies . With the metal interior and the bright lite it is easy to see what you are microwaving. I am quite happy with it and the price. I look forward to exploring all of its functions.

Okay so I finally just got this yesterday 12/13/2017 and I was really excited to give it a try, so I will tell you my experience about this unit so far.When I got the device the box was like some dog scratched at the corner along with multiple breaks in the cardboard from handling and what doesn't make sense is they didn't even put the microwave in a bigger box with packing foam to prevent it from being damaged. I had already ordered one of these units before and the door was completely shattered, they don't put any protective layers against the glass door so don't be surprised if you get one of these and the glass is shattered on the door; however, thankfully the shipping company didn't break this one.The video for this unit is total LIE because when she puts the pizza in the unit is not even preheated to 400° and when she takes it out it wasn't even done preheating, if you notice on the readout the bottom blocks on the left represent the current heat; in fact, the far blinking block on the right represents where it's trying to heat too and the blocks never made it to 400° because the blocks were in the same place as if she just took it out in one or two minutes, so there is no way the unit would have made it to 400° because when it does all the blocks from left to right would be light up, so there was no way that pizza should have been done. They have a deception in the advertising because I had bought this on the pretense that the pizza would be cooked "In just minutes" as she said.When I was a teenager my mom had a convection microwave before and it was practically an instant heating element which could cook food "in just minutes" and I don't know why this would take 16 minutes give or take to get to 400° temperature. There was nothing wrong with our previous microwave that we used Panasonic Invertech 2.2 Cu.Ft 1250W and we used a Presto 03430 Pizzazz Plus Rotating Oven for cooking stuff that would normally go into the oven which worked out great in the summer time; however, the reason I bring this up is it takes 16 minutes for preheating the microwave then another 20 minutes to cook a frozen cardboard pizza from the supermarket and takes a total of 36 minutes; whereas, my previous setup only took 20 minutes on the Pizzazz.This unit gets so hot that my cabinets above it feel hot to the touch even being 3 inches away from the wall and cabinet above and you don't dare put anything on top of it because who knows what will happen. I don't know if I will be keeping this as I don't feel safe and it's still emitting some off gases and smells like burning plastic, I also don't want my kids getting burned by this machine either as it gets so hot I would fear for them getting burned in the future.
