I purchased this to teach a young Mustang filly to tie; this tie ring is heavy and durable and stayed put no matter what direction the little filly pulled. After three sessions, she now stands quietly with no panic or pullback. It's safe and effective for both you and your horse.

This product is very sturdy and easy to use!

Good solid hardware and functions with different styles of lead ropes and lines. Provides enough friction (when not hard tied) so the horse feels they are tied but if they panicked they could pull the rope through to hopefully prevent injury.

I have been using these type of tie rings for many years. Clinton Anderson is a big fan of them. For the money, this is a comparable ring. My horses are trained to tie so I cannot speak to the durability of this particular product I am giving it 4 ⭐️s. However, when I was training mine I did use this method, just a different brand. The horses had all been cross-tied so restraint was not unusual. I am glad that I used these though as it reinforces the idea that tying is not going to hurt them, even when they’re frightened.My QH was the most difficult to teach as he tended to be claustrophobic. It took hours and hours, so don’t get discouraged and DO NOT leave them alone until they master it. Even on a 14’ lead he would pull it all the way thru, sometimes wrapping it around his leg. Eventually he became a pro and even when purposely scaring him he didn’t pull back much, if at all. This type of tie is definitely worth a try. 😁 Plus you can use firmer techniques, like when tied to a trailer, if needed.

I love these for training horses to stand tied. Not hard to install and very sturdy.

We have a young horse that gets nervous occasionally and we were getting really worried about the tie we were using. She would pull back and I always feel like she is going to hurt herself. A friend of mine suggested this horse ring and what a difference. She is so calm and I feel more safe using it. It's really easy to install to a post or to our horse trailer. Tying the lead rope was extremely easy as well. It fits all horse lead ropes, different halter, cross ties and high lines for your horse. All accessories are made with good quality, I fell like it will last me a long time. I would recommend this. Our horse is so much calmer now.
