Nice looking and made cabinet
I was pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of this medicine cabinet, and I also love the simple, clean look. It comes ready to hang with pre-drilled holes in the back and wall anchor screws but can just as easily stand on a tabletop. The shelf isn't adjustable, but the spacing is perfect, and I like how they thought to put a small lip on the shelf to keep your meds from falling off the front of it. The front isn't glass, but it is a good-quality acrylic. It comes with the handle facing inside the cabinet to prevent damage during shipping, so you'll have to unscrew it and put it back in facing outward after you unpack it. The latch mechanism works well and seems of good quality, although only time will tell how it holds up to daily use. This is a good buy, and I'm thrilled with this cabinet.

Great
This is a great cabinet for any first aid or medicine. This looks nice and the decals actually come separate so you don't have to put them on.

All metal. Safety latch no key lock.
This is a very nice metal cabinet. Very vintage looking. I would have preferred a glass window rather than an acrylic window. The lock is like a safety latch. It does not have a key, it's just very stiff to open. The metal is pretty sturdy and the cabinet is roomy. It's easy to mount to the wall..

Nice, except for the latch
We purchased the CMXIKJ with Snap Lock. The box is sturdy with a glass door. Large enough for our LifePak AED. The latch was working great until recently. We had it 11mths and used the latch a handful of times during this time. The latch now sticks and will not pop open. This is not good if you need to use the AED in an emergency! Upon closer inspection, the red portion of the latch is on the flimsy side. Not sure how we are going to remedy that. For now we had to remove the door altogether. Hard to find customer service phone number for this company.

no assembly, easy to install
This is very easy to install, holds a good amount. The shelves are perfectly spaced so those taller bottles can fit. The door securely shuts. I do wish I could lock it with a key or something. Its well made and durable. Will hold up for years and years. It's compact but holds way more than you would think. The screw holes are straight through so you don't have to measure or any of those other tricks to get the screws spaced right.

Public Safety Themed Bathroom
The media could not be loaded. I was so excited when this CMXIKJ Metal Cabinet arrived, because I am remodeling my bathroom in a ‘public safety’ themed motif. This sturdy and durable cabinet will be mounted on my bathroom wall and used as a medicine cabinet, after installing an additional shelf, within.• Best features of the CMXIKJ’S cabinet for me were:• Minor assembly;• Transparent acrylic window to view items without opening the cabinet;• Drilled installation holes, and that;• The door activated alarm and strobe light will alert me when guests are snooping in my medicine cabinet. This cabinet will definitely be the focal point of my renovated ‘public safety’ themed bathroom.

perfect size for a small business
I got this medicine / first aid cabinet to install in my small business. I only have 3 employees, so this is absolutely the perfect cabinet. It holds everything that we thought we would possibly need at work and has some space left over. The closure works great and keeps everything safely and securely inside. It is built really good so I know it will last many years.

Decent, but too cumbersome in an emergency
The media could not be loaded. This cabinet is designed to be closed and locked, then opened in a tamper-evident way... but the design could cost a life in a medical emergency. The key is held on a tightly pressed metal hanger on the upper left part of the door. In that little compartment, the bottom is open to the rest of the cabinet, so when you push up and to the right on the key to remove it, the force of that released key might make someone drop the key.The way the product page shows this, is with a little acrylic window propped up against the locking lever... but I'm almost certain that the little window is intended to be glued to the opening of the key compartment - mine arrive with that adhesive on the window, but it was sitting in the bottom of the cabinet. Why else would the bottom of the key compartment be open, if not to let the little detachable window fall through? It's a bad design... The glued window is meant to be tamper evident and dissuade people from just taking the key, but if they're not going to ship the cabinet with it installed at all, then close the compartment. The alarm works, and is pretty straight forward. It's installed on the inside for shipping, and can be re-installed on the outside relatively easily. The instructions are funny... and burr out the operator and background in some pictures, but not in others - not a problem, but really odd. There are no instructions on installing the little key-cover.As a cabinet, it's sturdy and strong enough for the task. It's well labeled, and pretty easy to figure out what you're supposed to do to open it, but I would not want my life to depend on a panicking person to handle the key correctly in such a tiny, open-bottomed compartment. As an emergency medical device, this fails.I might attach a chain to the key so it can't be lost or dropped.
