OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES Case for iPhone 8 PLUS & iPhone 7 PLUS (ONLY) - Frustration Free Packaging - STORMY PEAKS (AGAVE GREEN/MARITIME BLUE)

I have used OtterBox Defender cases for my past three phones. It’s the only case that has made it possible for my phone to actually outlast the 24 months of payments! As you can see from this picture, I dropped my phone in the snow. It remained covered in about 2 feet of snow for close to two weeks. During that time, temperatures ranged from 20° to -28°F. A couple days ago, the temperature shot up to 40°. Crazy, but pretty common in Wisconsin. Anyways, I figured for sure it was done for. I took the phone out of it’s case. There was minimal moisture inside of the case. That could partially be attributed to the really cold temperatures.. I let it sit for the day before trying to turn it on or plug it in. It’s my opinion that trying that wet or frozen might short something out, if that’s even possible he stays. It turned right on. OtterBox cases I have stuff with their design for quite some time. I just purchased the iPhone 7 and the case. The reason I’m posting this picture of the iPhone 6 OtterBox, Is because the iPhone 6 is not water resistant. That leaves me to believe that this phone was saved by the case alone. I am a general contractor. This phone (case) has been through things that it definitely does not deserve. Well worth the purchase price.

I have owned several previous otter boxes over the years. This was purchased for my wife's iPhone 8 Plus. This one is very rugged and durable, as expected.The film over the screen is not as sensitive and responsive as she prefers, so I used an Exacto knife to remove it.This case increases the size of the phone substantially. After replacing two broken iPhone screens at over $100 each, within less than 2 months period of time, this was needed.Overall, this is a great phone protector and it is well worth the price.

I work with heavy machinery a lot and use an app for my job so my phone is in constant use in dirty and dusty environments. While this case definitely defends the phone against drops, dust and dirt always seems to get underneath the built in screen protector through the bottom speaker cut outs and top window. This has lead to my screen actually getting scratched underneath the protector due to a piece of metal dust that I thought was on the outside. I swiped my thumb across the screen, and the piece of metal dust with it, causing a light but visible scratch.If you don’t work in dirty environments, then this case will do its job protecting the screen and body. If you work in a high traffic equipment/automotive shop, construction, metalworking, etc., though, this case may not be for you.

I really like Otterbox. It has saved my phone many times during a fall - and that's what really counts.I have been using Otterbox for over 10 years now and I am overall happy. I have broken a few of the clips that go onto my belt. I think their nylon/plastic needs to be thicker for their clips. The clips I broke happened because I sat down and the phone hit the chair as I went down. Their customer support is excellent. I would recommend Otterbox.

This case is amazing. I work in HVAC and go to school to be a diesel technician, so this case gets into all kinds of dirty and hazardous conditions for a phone. It has protected my phone faithfully with no issues. Multiple drops onto concrete and asphalt. I even once dropped my phone and in an attempt to catch it midair I slammed the phones screen into the corner of a cement block. I though it was done for but it was fine. Just a small nick to the screen protector. If you want a trusted brand and great case this is your go to.

Worst case I have ever had. First off the screen cover is useless. I couldn’t swipe up to get my flashlight on my iPhone. The buttons didn’t register a lot of the type. Typing was almost impossible. I had to remove the screen cover which defeats the waterproofing. It is a rugged case but overall not what is described at all. Poor quality is certain areas.

I bought this case to replace my Lifeproof case that was beginning to wear out, as a lesser expensive alternative, only to find out after I received the Otter box case, I could have bought another Lifeproof case for nearly the same price. The Otter box case seems to be durable, but the case is not sealed. The opening around the ear piece allows dirt, dust, and small hairs to get behind the screen protector. And the holster is annoying to get the phone into.

I've been a huge fan of the Otter Box for years. I've dropped my phone on numerous occasions. So far so good no breakage. I couldn't find the Otter Box at local stores near me so I went to the Amazon site to purchase. Lucky for me because it was much cheaper or less expensive than the original list price. Very happy with the purchase. Will definitely go to Amazon and purchase again.

This case yes looks nice but I don't think it was made for the iPhone 8 plus.. Im not sure why the logo in the back of the case doesn't center around the apple logo at all. Which aesthetically to my eyes is very annoying and I have had many otter box cases and never had this issue. Which leaves me to think it was either not made for the 8 plus or its an imitation of otter box...Does it protect my phone yes.. for that reason alone I will give it 2 stars...

A big fan of this OtterBox Defender case - I've purchased this version before for a previous phone. Keeps your phone in perfect condition. I love the belt-clip holster that comes with it, and have used it many times. It also works as a stand when in landscape mode.As mentioned with others, the case for the iPhone 8+ does not perfectly centre the apple symbol on the case back (see picture) as it did with previous versions, but it isn't a big deal to me. Regarding the colour, mine is "Stormy Peaks" which is the Agave Green & Maritime Blue combination. The green looks more like a warm, medium grey colour, so it is difficult to tell that it's actually green.I plan to purchase this case again for future phones. Love it!

Okay, I am a believer now. The price is worth it. It really does give the phone 360 degrees of protections. Already dropped the phone once. Also, the case is very grippy. Which is I absolutely love. I tried out another casing which was just as big but very slippery. You want grippy casing when they are this big.

A nice dark blue case, it's a nice hard case. It is not waterproof but the phone is already waterproof. I love that it comes with a belt clip too, so it adds an extra protection to the front. Frustration-Free Packaging is the BEST, it's a little cardboard box that it comes into instead of the hard plastic that it usually comes with it.

I bought this otter box Defender case for iPhone 8 Plus but the outward rubber/silicon is loosening out on its tagidity on the four edge corners making it look very agrly it keeps on increasing in the size making it not to hold tight on the plastic. I don’t think if this was really an original peace from utter. It’s really loosening out from the plastic. Frustrated and disappointed
