Great product, but it takes effort to make it work
This is a great visual/tactile macro pad that is marketed to streamers but can be used to control many applications through custom shortcuts and commands. It vibrates when you press the buttons, the dials are responsive and respond to presses. The screen is full color and shows custom images set up in the app. And it is highly customizable - see below.Couple of warnings: It doesn't ship with all of the capabilities shown in the product image for this page, but you can customize it to add them after the fact. Note that after installing the software, it will prompt you to download the 6.0.1 update, but DO NOT UPGRADE. The latest software has lots of problems, including being unable to install plugins, which really renders it useless. I had to uninstall it, go to the loupedeck website, click Downloads, and select the 5.9.1 version. It'll seem a bit sparse at first, but you can work to make it yours. As far as capabilities, you can download plugins for many programs like PowerTools or SoundController. But for situations not already covered by plugins, the customization piece really helps. You can add custom "Dial Adjustments" for things like switching desktops and browser tabs. You can add an entire panel to run custom "Keyboard Shortcuts" for your favorite text/art/code editor or game. The icons can come from their icon pack downloads or pick from images you have downloaded or taken from screenshots from your app. It can open whatever application you want, pull up a webpage, and even run macros. It's great if you want to tinker with it, but expect to spend an afternoon or two getting it all set up. You'll be rewarded for the effort.

Great product
Great quality and is pretty compact in size, I'm not a streamer but it's great for way more than just that, I use it for custom buttons for my art programs and even programed it to do different things on pc games so it works for gaming too, the price at least for me was a little price however I got a refurbished one for a bit cheaper and it was well worth it, works and looks like it was never used before.

Seek elsewhere. This isn't built to last
This thing lasted me 6 months. Every other time I turn on my PC, my Stream Controller won't load (see attached photo for example). The program used with the controller (Loupdeck) seldom works. It's suggested that this tool can do alot, and yet there are virtually no recent tutorials on all these things you can do.It's not good enough for the price. You're better off going with the El Gato Stream Deck.

Razer Stream Controller X: A Streamlined Content Creation Powerhouse (with a few caveats)
The Razer Stream Controller X is an all-in-one control deck designed to elevate your streaming and content creation game. Packing 15 LCD "Switchblade" buttons, multi-link macros, and seamless software integration, the X promises to put you in total command of your workflow. But does it deliver? Let's dive in.Pros:Intuitive Control: The Switchblade buttons are the star of the show. Crisp, tactile, and backlit with customizable LCD screens, they offer instant visual feedback and make controlling complex actions a breeze.Macro Magic: Multi-link macros let you chain multiple actions together with a single button press, saving you precious seconds and streamlining your workflow.Software Synergy: The included Loupedeck software is powerful and user-friendly. Drag-and-drop functionality and a wealth of pre-built profiles make setup a breeze, even for beginners.Customizable Cool: Swappable magnetic faceplates let you personalize your X to match your style. Bonus points for the blank option that begs for a custom paint job.Beyond Streaming: While designed for streamers, the X's functionality extends to photo and video editing, music production, and even basic productivity tasks. A versatile tool for any creator.Cons:Learning Curve: While the software is intuitive, mastering the X's full potential takes time and experimentation. New users might feel overwhelmed at first.Limited Buttons: For complex workflows, 15 buttons might feel restrictive. Power users may miss the additional dials and knobs found on the larger Razer Stream Controller.Pricey Proposition: At $149.99, the X is a significant investment. Budget-conscious creators might find cheaper alternatives.Verdict:The Razer Stream Controller X is a powerful and versatile tool for streamers and content creators of all levels. Its intuitive controls, macro capabilities, and seamless software integration make it a joy to use. However, the limited button count and hefty price tag might deter some. If you're a serious creator looking to streamline your workflow and add a touch of personalization to your setup, the X is definitely worth considering. Just be prepared to invest the time to unlock its full potential.Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Works well. Software is good.
This works well with no issues. Works as expected and the software is a tad cumbersome but easy to use after setting a few functions to the pad. Uses loop deck software not Razer software

Hardware feels great, software is atrocious
Fit and finish on the physical device was top tier, hardware felt great. But the software no matter if you were on the current version or an older version is atrocious. Many people in the forums have also expressed discontent for the loop deck software.I really wanted to like this device as Razer makes great feeling gear and the functionality that it could provide is awesome. But until Razer and Loupedeck fix the driver issues and crashing issues it's not functional. In the first couple of hours of trying to set the device up on multiple computers I ran into issues with the application lagging or not responding. Compounded with constantly crashing and taking me back to the main page it just became frustrating to attempt to use. I tried full driver installations of versions 6 and 5 of the Loupedeck software. It is supposedly compatible with Mac but I don't own one myself so I can't give a review on how it will work for that. Again the hardware itself is beautiful but the software is just not functional. I gave it 2 stars because of the hardware finish.
