Excellent gear!
I have nothing but good things to say about this board and the Studio One software that comes with it.It was super easy to set up there are a ton of YouTube videos that explain how to set up your individual channels for inputs like voice mics, drums, guitar, keyboards etc.And the recording software (DAW) is really easy to use and powerful. I did the upgrade to the full professional version of the software because they ran a special the 50% off and it allows me to install it on up to five devices. The quality of playback of the original live music coming into the board through the software is 100% accurate. Once you have your levels set for the inputs on the devices the recording from playback sounds just like it's being played live. It's also easy to mix down and export songs from Studio One, if you're not familiar with using a DAW, this is an easy one to learn.I've talked to so many other musicians that are using the same set up and love that I can share songs easily.

Great Mixer, Great Price, Fast Delivery!
Promptly delivered and great price! This mixer has all the bells and whistles I need for recording and mixing, and, works seamlessly with my Studio One DAW software. Learning curve for the mixer is shorter than I envisioned, so I was able to be productive fast.

It's very glitchy.
I have a PC, Window 10 used for recording. Because my recording program is Presonus, I went for the same brand for interface. I went for the StudioLive 16.0.2. Very nice mixing table/audio interface, but I couldn't get it to work. I got it specifically for the Midi connections... who got a very spotty signal. I spent my whole weekend trying to cope this thing into gear to no avail. I did manage to get some sound, but it was glitchy at best. Gave it up. I switched to Focusrite 18i20 and got it less than a half hour ago. I plugged the computer cable they put in the box, I plugged the power cable, I plugged the two main channel in the output. I went to the Focusrite website, downloaded without signing in or signing up the Essential drivers. Restarted the computer. Huzzah! Everything works! I just need to get the Midi to get through, but, let me tell you, I am so happy, I didn't wait two years to write a review (I usually write my reviews after thoroughly testing any product). As for the sound: same as make no difference as the Presonus. It play cleans, it records clean, that's all that matters.

One thing you need to know
I really liked this mixer. After updating the firmware, it did a great job as an audio interface. I loved the fat channel presets for vocals. The downside is this: I bought this as a hybrid solution…looks and feels analog, but saves scenes and has remote access, and a small footprint…..but the details: remote access only works with a laptop and a router attached via usb…that was a deal killer for me.

Great product, great company
Pre amps are great and the tech support is better. Easy to use perfect for home, small church, or club.

Good Mixer, no motorized faders, poor software/driver on Windows 10
The mixer is usable straight out of the box but I returned it for two reasons, one: The USB driver is not ready for Windows 10 and two: PreSonus tech support is not responsive or understanding. I needed this board to provide a stereo mixdown via USB for streaming. What I discovered is that the USB driver is geared entirely to 24 channel use and if you attempt to receive a "stereo/mono" mix, you only get the program audio from channel 1 & 2 as left and right. To get a true mix down I was forced to physically connect the main output into channel 1 & 2 inputs to "trick" the USB into giving me a stereo mix for streaming use. I lost two of the 24 channels effectively. When I approached PreSonus tech support about the problem with the driver and software, providing screenshots of the missing buttons in their software UI, they regurgitated what was in the user guide and asked for a massive quantity of log data from my pc. I use my mixer weekly and so could not wait for PreSonus to analyze my system when it's their software/driver that was my problem. So in summary, the board, while it does not have motorized faders, is a good digital board. I really liked their "fat channel" implementation and would say the mixer has a pretty easy learning curve. This board is well suited for multi-track recording or Pro/live sound (with no digital stereo recording). If PreSonus fixes their software/driver ability to mix-down to stereo USB, then it will be an all-around winner.
