Received the shade. It was exactly as described in the sales info. While putting it up, I screwed up and needed help. Sent a quick note to them, and the response was prompt. They did more than I would ever expect in response to my problem. This product is pretty easy to install, considering the awkward height of installing on a cathedral ceiling. But definitely worth doing, as the shade does a great job of darkening the bedroom. Measurements are key, because you can’t make it smaller than your ordered size. And if you’re too small, it’ll have gaps on the sides which hurts the blackout, plus it doesn’t look as good with light filtering in. So measure twice, then order. But you’ll love it.

It fit perfectly. Small telescoping rod makes opening and closing the skylight blind a breeze.

I was a bit worried about purchasing something like this without seeing it in person, about whether this would really fit my skylight, and about my ability to install this by myself while on a ladder. But I was able to install it in under an hour. And it works great. Doesn’t feel super cheap. Looks quite solid. This was a bit of a bargain and will make my office much more comfortable in the summer.
