Great fireplace heater

Great little heater
The heater arrived with a defect. It had a loud, repetitive clicking sound while running. I contacted the seller, "Aosom Direct" and they were awesome. I sent a video to customer services in which the clicking sound was quite obvious. They immediately offered to send a replacement. It arrived quickly and works great. The outer covering is plastic but, the essential internal heating area is metal. It's a really cute and cozy addition to our bedroom. Love the timer feature!

Fraud - RUN!!!!! Do Not Buy!!!
The seller states in the listing that the product has metal housing. This is a LIE!! The housing is plastic - which goes against regulation laws for electronic heaters! The unit did not come with a remote control either, as stated in the listing. I called Amazon customer service and was informed that the seller was NOT ALLOWED to sell the unit because is dangerous to use, since it does not meet laws regulating the manufacturing of electronic heaters. When Amazon reached out to the seller on my behalf, the seller decided to inform me to be mindful that I would have to pay for the return shipping for "buyer's remorse" instead of taking full responsibility for having mislead me. Check the other review. Another customer also indicated that the seller misled them by claiming the housing was metal when it was in fact plastic. In addition, the unit looks very cheap and the heating fan is loud! DO NOT BUY!

Works better than expected..
Really a great product. Things is our second one. Great size, and looks great too. Higher recommended.

Nicely made, louder fan, plastic not metal housing
I have not used this as the fan is a bit too loud to use by my laptop where I do Zoom court work. I thought it was a metal housing/box/case, but it is a plastic. Strong, but I don't think ad said that it was plastic. Very easy dials to control with remote, the remote a huge plus. Temperature option is great. It is very nice looking and the fan blows out plenty of air to circulate and it gets hot. Right under the lip of the front it is extremely hot, lifted there and got a bit burned. Just good to know it's hot there. I may try to repurpose from my plan, because it is very cute :-)

Great heater
I love this heater! I was hesitant to buy it at first but once it arrived it was perfect. The fireplace lighting can range in bright to a low effect. The remote makes it handy to turn on during those cold mornings. I have been using it in my bedroom because I’m always cold, and it definitely warms up the room quickly. Very impressed!
