So EASY
This is the best. Easy to use, easy app, for Bluetooth, for use on laptop, phone, tablet. Tapes have "FEET" of length print out and text are fabulous.

Watch out on this one.
This is a non-USA item. When contacting Epson support, I was informed they would not help me. So while trying to find out I was told they had USA models Buy one get one free at $58.00. So I did purchase. The software would only down load on my Apple phone and not my Google/Samsung. So be aware of the issues. I have been on support for over an hour with very little information. I mostly had to figure it out on my own.

What? Great and easy software, better than QWERTY labelers, but no split labels? Weak adhesive?
I bought the Brother P-220 with the full QWERTY keyboard thinking it'd be easier than an app based system like the Epson LW- C410 that I'm reviewing here. Wrong. There's a lot of little things to know about the Brother machine that would force me to memorize a lot of its functions if I wanted ease of use, and it's non-backlit display doesn't show 2 lines, another complication I don't want to deal with.> Not a problem with the Epson, it's like any well-written app for print design, easy to use, very graphical, and in minutes I was up to speed. The Bluetooth connection was super easy as well.I felt compelled to write this review because I'm ASTONISHED that Epson would make a label whose backing is a chore to remove. I figure that the OEM of a product like their tape cartridges are going to give you the best experience and best possible quality. WRONG.1. There is no split backing for the labels, pelling off the backing of each one is painstaking and time-consuming.2. The adhesive was about 1/2 to 1/3 as much as I would expect from a quality label. Having worked in construction I know how sticky tape can get, and this one is pathetic. I'm putting clear scotch tape over each one.In the short time I've used the Epson, I'd give it a 5/5. The low print quality is notifceably pixelated with some fonts, all the more so when you're dealing with 1/2 tape using 2 lines. But that's a price/product thing, they've provided a quality printer and app for a reasonable price and this is what you get. I'm actually willing to spend a little more than 1/2 again as much to upgrade to their LW-C610, which has twice the print resolution. You get what you pay for, I'm glad they give the choice of being economical with this unit.It looks like they haven't solved the problem with excess tape wastage- my understanding is that that extra 1/2" that's wasted is a function of the tape needing to clear the label housing after it hits the print head. They do you the courtesy of cutting it off so you're left with a label that is cut evenly on both sides of the label. So:Label maker: 4/5Labels: 2/5I deduct a point for the quality of the labels, and the fact that with this unit or the LW-C610, there are very few labels available from 3d parties that are larger than 1/2". Even 3/4" is scarce, so you'd be forced to buy Epson tapes, at 4 times the cost if you wanted to use it in larger widths.

Prints QR codes and barcodes, portable and Bluetooth
Using this to print QR codes and names for devices while I am on the go at different sites. The software on your phone is the perk here because it utilizes Bluetooth printing and is very easy to use. I like that it runs off of battery power so I can replace batteries real quick if I need to and won't have to wait on it to charge. It also has a lifetime warranty if you go online and fill out the form.

Works great like the more expensive commercial models
I use the Brady handled one on a daily basis. Bought this one for home. Works just as fast. Margins are much tighter so much less waste. Like the auto cut feature and the ability to turn it off. Having the app makes it super easy to print multiple. Did not realize it came with one roll of black on white 1/2 PX tape. This was a nice surprise!

Great product but might hard to use for some.
Love this label maker. The flexibility offer through the app gives you a great deal of control. It works way more like a printer than a label maker. Having to do a Bluetooth connection before each use might be problematic for some. Others might find the print interface having too many menus and features. But for this IT guy it’s the label maker I always wished for.

Printer paper is wasted-Returning item
Every label I print, it also ejects out a blank piece of label paper. I thought this was a flaw at first. I emailed Epson customer support asking for them to disable this feature, but never heard back. I just read the reviews and noted that another customer also had this issue. Granted, I didn't scrutinize the reviews thoroughly prior to buying this as I would not have bought it knowing that Epson can charge me double for proprietary printer tape knowing that they created a tool that wastes the product each time its used. Overall the label maker is great, but there are so many more out there that don't waste the product intentionally.
