Beautiful Rug, Released Creases Easily, Comfy
I purchased this rug in the 9' x 12' size and received it folded and rolled. At first I was a bit upset but I gave it a chance by unrolling/folding it and placing heavy books on all corners. It took about four days to totally relax and release all folds, and I was relieved. It took about a week total for the scent to go away. It's a beautiful rug. I really appreciate the look it brings to the room and the cost was worth it. It seems to be a low-medium thickness but quite a nice feel under the feet. The rug slides a bit, so for safety and protecting my floors, I put a 1/2" rug pad underneath it for a big upgrade. Time will tell how durable it is over time, but the way it released the creases is promising.

Amazing for the price
Fantastic value. Arrived safely packaged; took less than an how to flatten out. Incredibly soft. Length and width measurements spot on. Beautiful, deep navy color with lighter lines running through. Note the corners do curl a little bit, but I've had this happen on every single rug I've purchased (and I've purchased many). Simply use a little bit of carpet tape on all the corners and voila -- problem solved. 5/5 stars; highly recommend, and would not hesitate to purchase from Safavieh again!

Pretty Decent Rugs. 5th One. UPDATED REVIEW!
It’s surprisingly hard to find a decent, navy blue, round rug. I’ve looked and looked and finally took a chance on this one because of the amount of reviews. The thing I dislike is that it says it’s a solid Navy, and it does have stripes in it for sure. I was hoping it didn’t, as a couple reviews stated, but it does. I wanted just solid navy. The rug itself isn’t bad though. Vacuuming it one directions makes it a much lighter shade than the other direction, which is both normal, and annoying, with dark carpeting.I did have to get the 9’ diameter, which is slightly too big for my table in the pictures. I had a 6’ jute rug prior to that, which was too small, and jute is always so dusty. 8’ diameter would have been perfect, but that wasn’t an option. So it looks a little wonky under my table, but better than before. At least my chairs won’t slide off of it when pushed out. Much easier to vacuum than jute as well. For the price, it’s a good rug. I had planned on seeing how this one came out and then ordering the giant size for another room, but now that I see in person that it has the lines through the navy, I may keep trying to hunt down the perfect, solid navy rug again.I think overall, I will keep this rug for under my table though.UPDATE 12/6/24: Just purchased my 5th one of these rugs. All different sizes, and this time in a 10x14 brown color. I really hoped for a solid color, and in one direction, it seems almost a solid brown. If you walk and look from the opposite side though, it looks like a super bright tan, not brown. It’s so odd. The material is almost like a velvet in coloring. It does have the lighter stripes throughout it, just like my navy ones do. I do have one really great navy runner that is solid and I love that one so much! It seems like every single rug is going to be different. For the size, the price isn’t the worst, and it’s a nice color from looking the one direction. I do hate the color it shows from the other direction, but it may be tolerable enough to keep it.It is soft, slightly cushioned, doesn’t shed or smell, and not the most expensive for the size. Those are huge pros. Con is definitely the coloring being off every direction you look at and the stripes in each rug.

UPDATE: Fantastic in quality and looks!
Navy rug looks even better than I could’ve imagined. Two guys with upper body strength installed it within 10 minutes or less. I was their bossy supervisor and they handled that well too. Made the room a nest instead of a cold-looking space with furniture. Ordered an 8x10 and it was the perfect size. Am going to go check out more rugs on Amazon now because I am so happy about how stylish this one looks.4/17/25: Am so pleased (again) with this carpet! I've ordered two times now for two different rooms usually with a large/huge area rug and a medium size (5x3) for entryway, etc. Today I am back to order a couple of rugs for my dining room/kitchen area. I am looking for a 5.5'x7.5' area rug (dining room area) and a 5x3) to be by the kitchen sink. I'm so sorry to read that some customers are not satisfied with the color of the rugs. Personally, they're perfect for me. It's hard to describe but if you look closely at the pictures of this carpet, you'll notice that the rugs are NOT a solid color. Instead, there's a tiny super-skinny white line between the colored carpet materials. I believe the pictures for this item have been updated because if you look closely you can see the tiny white spaces between rows of carpet. Because I have a sweet white doggie who sheds and I also have hoards of cotton material that I'm always cutting or sewing (24/7 if I'm lucky) there is an extreme amount of lint, little scraps, and some places even look like it's snowed in here. lol Now that I've finally found a carpet company who sells quality products, I'm very satisfied with these rugs. The cotton scraps, threads, etc. don't who up as bad as they did with a solid carpet. I can't believe the difference now that I've purchased these rugs. I'm looking forward to choosing a color and size for my dining room/kitchen today. P.S. I have purchased the navy rugs and the darker brown rugs (beautiful) and I hope you can tell that they're not all one color. And, the most Important Fact is that you have to enlarge these pictures in order to see fabric threads. lol As for my puppies bright white fur, it doesn't show up even if you do enlarge the pictures. Hope this helps you make a choice in purchasing this item.
