Have a much bigger one which is attractive, this one is an ugly lump and the bulb went after a fortnight, so need to buy another, only time will tell if the bulb was naff or this lump of salt gets through bulbs like I can get through chocolate. My other larger , much larger salt lamp is just on its second bulb after 4 years

First one we bought was so good that we ended up buying another not so long after. The first was true to the size and weight advertised, looks the part, is genuine stuff and gives a real cozy feel to any room in the house.The second we received however was much smaller. When I weighed and checked with a ruler I found it actually matched the cheaper spec rock, despite being in the correct box. Was a bit miffed because I was trying to get a symmetrical look with both rocks in one room and it looked ridiculously different. Sent back and swapped for a third rock. This one is a better size and doesn't look so odd, but still slightly smaller and is still not true to the spec given on the page of the 1002 model?Not sending back a third time, but I think you might be better placed saving a fiver and buying the 1001 model as the 1002 seems to be the same just lately.Also, bulb on latest one lasted only minutes. Perhaps worth letting it stand a while after arriving. New bulb in... And all good. Can't emphasize how great they are though. If the size issue was ironed out a bit, I'd give 5 star.PS. Ensure you buy a dimmable bulb.

Lovely crystal, but bulb blew within moments, and the fuse in the plug went. No dimmer switch

This was a Xmas gift and it's been on pretty much ever since (every day, all day) without a single problem.If space is a consideration, the lamp itself is a nice compact size.It gives a very relaxing glow that can be adjusted low-to-high.Not able to validate the many beneficial claims of what a good Himalayan Salt Lamp can do, but can definitely say that it achieves an enhanced sense of calm when it's on and in itself, that's a big benefit.Cost more than some, but well worth it - such a success that we plan to get a second one of this particular brand for another room.

Not the most attractive lamp (sent the first one back as it looked like an orange building block). It doesn't have the tapered look about it which is unfortunate since it is "hand carved."Second lamp that arrived had a dimmer switch which is good.Takes a long time to warm up up.Has a lovely soft glow.Seems to ward off migranes.

This lamp is exactly what I was looking for. The product looks very natural/hand made and good quality.The dimmer for the light is perfect to increase/reduce the light for use during the day or as a night light.I am using this lamp for 2 years and never had an issue. I am going to buy more for this Christmas as a present.

Great lamps and a great Black Friday price. Ordered 4 and kept one. The one I used had the bulb blow after only 10 hours of being on. However had great customer service from WBM who when told that despite changing bulb and fuse I couldn’t get it to work, sent a replacement out with no need for me to return the other, really quickly. The other 3 are all working fine apparently. Inside the box there is a note saying don’t contact seller contact WBM direct with an email address or phone number.

Luckily I got a lamp with reasonably interesting colour/pattern. The dimmer switch is a nice touch as it allows variation which will be be helpful for a nursing mum during the night, allowing Dad to be reasonably undisturbed - or Dad to comfort baby and mum to get some well deserved rest.
