Really great clock! I like an eclectic look and this is it! The moving gears are super neat. This is a heavy clock so make sure it’s hung with reinforcement; in a stud or a sinker screw. I didn’t do that and it fell off my wall. It’s a big clock but not so big that it’s too much.

I love this clock! It goes well with my new brown painted walls in my condo. It is large and stylish. Takes double A batteries and rotates the wheels in it!😍

At first I thought I the clock arrived damaged, but it turns out I placed the FOUR AA batteries improperly. It appeared that the clock only took THREE AA batteries, so I figure FOUR was a typo or the design had changed. What I soon realized is the THREE AA batteries that go all in the same direction are powering just the turning gears. The FOURTH AA battery is located away, on its own, and it alone powers the actual clock.I had read in a previous review that the THREE AA batteries only lasted 3 months. I used brand new Duracell Alkaline AA batteries and, while the clock battery is just fine, I noticed the gears were no longer turning. I would estimate that they may have stopped about a week ago. That means my three brand new AA Duracells lasted nearly 8 months, or 2.5x longer than what the other reviewer claimed.I think anything more than six months is perfectly acceptable. The clock is heavy and gorgeous and I am very, very happy with this purchase!Highly recommended!!

Attractive clock and large, which is great if you are looking for something decorative to take up wall space. Fun to watch the gears move, but slightly less realistic than it could be since the gears don't interact with each other.

The clock arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. There are no instructions, but it's so simple to just add the batteries and put up on wall. One battery compartment operates the time, and one operates the gear movement. Both hands and gears operate very quietly. I have only one disappointment, which is that there is a spare set of time hands included (a nice surprise), but no instructions as to how to install them should I need or want to (hence the disappointment). Since I prefer the hands that are already installed, it's not a problem for me. I would rate it 4-1/2 stars only because of no instructions. The product itself meets all my expectations.
