Very Sturdy. Very Easy to Assemble.
I purchased the Big and Tall 400lbs Office Chair, because my last two executive office chairs both developed a lean to the right, after a few years of using them. It would appear I do not sit evenly. I am a little under 6' tall and not even close to 300lbs, but when I saw this chair advertised at 400lbs, I thought I would try it out, assuming it would be made of sterner stuff. It is.The base of the chair, the part the five wheels attach to, is thick metal and has the weight of metal. The seat and back of the chair are stouter and heavier than the average executive office chairs I had purchased in the past. The padding under the fabric is not as soft or airy as my previous chairs, but it is comfortable enough. I suspect it is because the padding material used was for a heavier person. In comparison, the seat padding in my last chair was very comfortable in the beginning, but because it was not very dense, it eventually quit resisting and it felt like I was sitting on a piece of plywood after a few hours. I do not think the padding in this chair is going to give up so easily. The wheels. The inline skating wheels. They have so little friction that I am still getting used to how easy the chair moves around on solid surfaces. This chair also comes with the standard caster wheels so the user can choose which they prefer. After using caster wheels for decades, I am sticking with the skating wheels. The chair advertises it is for big and tall people. The seat of the chair does protrude further than my last two chairs. In those chairs I was able to rest the heels of my feet on the base of the chair. I cannot do that with this chair. The seat sticks out just far enough that the base is covered by the seat. That is not a bad thing. My feet still firmly sit flat on the floor, but due to the seat being larger, my lower legs cannot angle back to rest my feet on the base. Instead my knee and lower leg are closer to a 90 degree angle, pointing straight down. It almost feels like I am sitting a little more properly. The tilt of the chair is less than I am used to. When shopping for a new executive type office chair I noticed there were some chairs that could tilt back 135 degrees and some that tilt back 110 degrees. I do not have the tools to measure angles, but I would guess that my old chairs tilted back to 135 and this tilts back to 110. If I took naps in this chair that would be bad, but for just tilting back to rest my eyes, or think something through, this lesser tilt is sufficient.Lower back adjustment. This chair has a turning knob that pushes the lower back support out more. I have had chairs before that had this and I never used it, because it did not seem to do anything. This chair does something. I did adjust the lower back to push out more and it does feel better for it. I suspect that is because the seat of this chair is larger than normal and sitting all the way to the back interferes with where the back of my knees touch the front of seat. This adjustment aligns me better with the chair.Assembly. If you have ever had to put together an office chair, or piece of furniture, that came with great instructions, very clear identification of the bits and pieces, engineered to be put together with the fewest connections possible, and includes the only tool you need, and it was a breeze, well this is that type of assembly. Everything lined up exactly. The pieces are heavier than normal, but if they were not, then it would not really be able to handle greater weights than the normal chairs. I know transport can damage even the best products, but the packaging for this chair was solid. The odds of transport damage is lower for it.Rating. This chair is worth the price I paid and meets or exceeds my expectations. That makes it 5 out of 5. For the same price as many normal executive office chairs I got one that I can touch and see is much stouter. This chair does not rely on heavy plastics or questionable design. It just straight up uses steel to make it sturdier.

Honest Review From A Customer
First off, I do not make too many reviews but when I do they are honest and as accurate as I can make them. This review is on the Brown YORICK Big and Tall 400lbs Office Chair. The chair was delivered quickly and nicely packaged. The base is steel and on the heavy side which you would expect for a heavyweight chair. The seat, back and arm rests look luxurious and are soft to the touch and the chair was easy to put together by one person, I will give assembly tips after this review. My chair came with two sets of wheels, the ones they show on the picture and a smaller double wheel type. I am a 6’2” 190 pound senior and I needed to use the smaller wheels so my legs would be comfortable resting on the ground. I think it is great that the YORICK Company included these wheels.Take note that from the seat cushion to the top of the back of the chair is around 28 ½”. If you are built so the upper part of your body is long, your shoulders might hit the built in pillow at the top of the chair and cause you to lean forward a bit. In a sitting position, my wife measures 25” from the seat to her shoulders and she just melts into the chair and loves the feel.I have only had the chair for a little over a week so I cannot give my opinion on how this chair will stand the test of time but it looks and feels solid. Also, the company was fantastic in answering any questions or concerns I had and I would definitely recommend their customer service. As for assembly, the directions are straight forward. The base wheels are inserted first and then the lift cylinder is inserted. The seat plate is attached to the seat cushion with four screws. Both the seat plate and the seat cushion have stickers that tell you where the front is, just line them up and when assembled, slip it onto the lift cylinder. Now where I did things a little different. Install the left and right arm rests according to the instructions but leave them loose. Lay the back cushion on the seat cushion according to the instructions but install only the upper screws loosely, the screws closest to the top of the cushion. After you have both upper screws installed, all you have to do is rotate the back cushion up and it is easy for one person to install the lower screws. From here, just continue following the included instructions.Hope you find this review helpful.

Great chair
My husband loves this chair. He's around 260+ lbs and is always in the chair because he plays games. We actually made this purchase two years ago and the chair is still going strong. Will probably purchase another just to have another around. Good purchase, no regrets

A good chair but is the price justifiable ?
It's almost been a year since i got this chair and first let me say i do love the chair im 6ft 280lbs but for 260$ is the price worth it ill break it down here with my experiencePositive experience-The chair is really comfortable-Easy to assemble-leather has held up with no cracks vs the other "high quality" chairs-comfortable to game on keyboard and controllerNegative experience-The Recline lock feels like it could be a dice role one moment i lean a little back and the next it sounds like something snapped and broke almost launching me back. although it still locks it gives me mini heart attacks when it happens- A little wobbly going like a corner to corner motion this could be cause the base plate or the recline lock but not the end of the world- The legs imo should be a bit longer so when i lean i don't feel like I'm about to fall backwardsSo far although i do enjoy the chair i do think 260$ for the chair when i have some of these issues after 8 months of use is a bit too much to ask course this could vary from person to person but when i see something that's rated for 400lbs i don't think i should be facing these issues within 8 months of use
