It Works!
A very basic item - a cylindrical stone with rounded concave ends. To sharpen a dart, you insert the point into one of the ends and scrape it around the inner edge in a circular motion. It can take a good 10 minutes to sharpen the point, but you can half this time by applying hard pressure. A sharpened dart ensures that there are no burs which can pull out tufts of fibres from your dartboard as you pull out the dart. Naturally, a sharper point has more chance of penetrating the board too. Recommended!

Macht die Spitzen echt schärfer. Wir hatten es dadurch schon, dass die Spitze im Draht festgesteckt hat. 👏

Meine Lieblingsdarts sind bereits an den Spitzen etwas abgespielt und sind daher oft aus dem Board gefallen. Nach dem schleifen mit dem Dart-Spitzer halten sie wieder 1a in der Scheibe.Das einzige was mir nicht ganz so gut gefällt: die Vertiefungen im Stein sind nicht im passenden Winkel zu den Dartspitzen. So wird nur oben ein "Ring" geschliffen wenn man diese in der Vertiefung bewegt. Dann einfach die Spitze außen anspitzen.

Pfleile sind spitz...
... bzw. abgerundet, denn spitz sollen Steeldarts ja nicht sein. Das Teil leistet insgesamt einem guten Dienst.
