The only reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 is because the nails that come with it are really short. If someone were to pull on it with just enough force, the nail would come out. Use longer nails for better hold would be my recommendation.

I install hooks everywhere in my rentals, mostly to insure they are sturdy and installed correctly and in appropriate places (because the tenant is going to do it if I don't and they'll wind up being too low or not level or not anchored properly or *gasp* in the doors or woodwork). I put them left and right inside every closet, in the wall behind doors (with door stops to protect the door), and extra in the bathroom and the laundry. These are slim and installed easily. I can't speak yet for value (thought they were a little pricey for bulk but we'll see), or for sturdiness. Due to the material, under stress these would likely break where the other brands like liberty or franklin brass would bend - not sure which is better. These do seem sturdy though for their slimness. I will update this review in a year or so after they've weathered a tenant. One thing to note is that these have a matte finish; that means they mark rather easily, whereas the gloss finish of other brands keeps them looking better. They clean up, though, with a mr clean magic eraser, and they could be painted. So far I would recommend these --based on look, utility, and ease of installation.

I used in camper that has little clothing space. I used the stud finder to place them and one in the bathroom to hold an extra shower rack for all the items that can’t be held in small space.

The color of them are good. Nice size hooks to hold larger coats. Sturdy enough to hold the weight of heavier coats. Quality overall is good.

These hooks have a nice matte black finish. They are a very light weight metal hook. I plan to use them to hang bath towels. Should be fine. I do not think they could support the weight of a backpack.

Just what I needed

pretty sturdy looking base. haven't tried the arms yet to see how durable, but look strong. base is pretty sturdy looking, but simple. Not something to put in your front entry, base edge isn't that nice looking, ok, just basic, looks more like something for a mud room, or garage. If you like simple its fine. Planning on hanging dog leases etc on this one, so it doesn't matter much. price is great. Nice to find hooks on a metal base instead of wood, or worse press wood that is found in the stores. I like its slim and not bulky, which is another bonus. some of the ones found in the box stores are very large and bulky for no apparent reason but for cosmetics I assume. If you want functionality, and all the hooks in one row, rather than independent, I'd go with this one. Its slim size without extra unnecessary bulk edges is great for the smaller space i am putting it next to the door for dog leashes and my dog walking coat. Because the hooks are actually part of it, won't have to worry about tiny screws being pulled out of a wood base if you hung something heavy like a backpack. I like having the two ordered as I can stack them 3 feet above one another for extra items for the dogs. great to use if you need lower level for kids' stuff too. Definitely worth the price! great price, a fraction of what big box stores sell lesser quality.
