Hard Drive Bag Carry Case for Seagate Expansion and Backup, and WD My Passport Ultra (Old Model) 2.5 Inch Portable External Device (Black)

This case is fine, it protects my Seagate Expansion 4 TB USB 3.0 Portable 2.5 inch External Hard Drive for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as it should. I have knocked off one star because one of the elastic retainers came away, it doesn't matter though as the fit is nice and snug so it doesn't affect the protective qualities of the case. The wrist lanyard thingy is handy as it saves my bacon when I have a clumsy five minutes and drop the case, of course the padding and protective shell should deal with minor impacts but it's better to be safe than sorry.I use one of my disks as a backup that I throw in the car whenever I go anywhere so some sort of protective case is vital. This does the job nicely. I am not recommending that you throw you hard drives in your car, and I really am quite careful, but accidents happen and it's a good idea to have your disks sitting in a coma cocoon of comfiness. It is a good idea to take at least one of your backup drives with you, or leave it at your mum's house when you go off on your wanderings because if it is sitting next to your computer and the bad guys break in they will swipe it!The Seagate drives I am using are quite large for USB3 drives as they are the 4tb version, they fit perfectly with space for the short cable as well.

Fits my  2TB Seagate Backup Plus Slim  and its USB cable just fine, which is what I needed.However, I have to agree with another review that the interior flap doesn't actually offer any additional storage, as putting anything in there at all would make it even more difficult to close the case. Furthermore, because my hard drive is slightly thicker than the bottom of the case, it ends up being not long enough - the padded bumps on it partly wrap around the side of the drive rather than lying flat, which compounds the issue. It feels like a design flaw more than a feature. In an ideally-designed case, the flap would be absent, and the part of the case that holds the USB cable would have a layer of protective bumps attached on 3 edges forming a pocket (instead of the current netted pocket), and the flap would not be there at all.

Only been using it for a month, so take this review with a grain of salt.The case is really nice looking and transportable. The inside is really soft and seems fit for the job of protecting an HD from some crashes.The downside is, I bought it for a WD My Passport and should fit fine... which it does.... very tightly. The actual space to put the HD is fine and fits well, the "problem" is when you want to close it all. There's a little neat pocket for the cable, but would can't just fold the cable and throw it there, you have to put it in a way that makes it the less stacked possible. otherwise it will be very hard to close the case, and I don't want my new HD to be tightly hard pressed by a cable... so, make it in a nice way, and take the harness out (I just put it in the special holder for it in the back) and you should be fine. But to put more things in the pocket.... it's a no go, at least with a WD My Passport HD.If in the future I come by more relevant information for other buyers I will update my review.

Useful little pouch, will fit into any bag and protects your external HDD with two layers (outer casing and inner padding) without you having to worry. Comes with a loop clip and another clip that can be secured to you wrist. Has a plastic sleeve on the upper flap of the internal padding that can be used to put in the owners information. The one I got was slightly damaged on the external casing, hence the 4 stars. Not too bothered about it as it still does what it says on the tin.

I bought this for my 1TB Seagate hard drive. There's space in it for the cable, as well as my USB-C to USB adaptor, and there are other pockets for maybe a screen cloth, small camera disks etc. It's a snug fit, and I thought perhaps the case wasn't going to close easily, but it did. As others have commented, it's a nice hard case with a soft interior, plenty of padding. The elastic straps will stop the hard drive popping out as soon as the zip is undone. The added strap is nice and long. There's also a poppered loop on the outside - not sure if it has a purpose or is just for design. But overall, I'm very happy with this case.

This is a small and seemingly durable case for a small portable hard drive. I bought it to store a 1tb driver I transfer between work and home. It is a snug fit, but provbably better that than having it rattling around inside. There is a clip and carry handle for the writs. It is sturdy enough to put in my rucksack and carry about with other documents and papers as I bike it around town.

I use a lot of portable hard-drives for work, these protector cases look quite smart and do their main fucntion of stopping the hard-drives getting scratched/damaged in transit in my bag.Good quality product at a good price.

Instead of giving additional storage space as the images imply, the internal flap makes it difficult to fully close the case with just an HDD & short microUSB cable inside.Originally, I gave a 3-star review, which should be neutral. However, Amazon treats a 3-star review as negative, and penalises the seller. Mudder have contacted me to offer an alternative replacement, which is unnecessary, so they get an extra star for that effort.
