Great product and works perfectly. Be aware that your car connection point may not deactivate this control when ignition is turned off, so it drains your battery. It killed my battery in my 11 month old car and it had to be replaced.

I've left it a while before writing this review, but I'm happy to say that my Android Auto experience has been transformed. I've gone from it cutting out after 1hr of driving (wired) to a completely stable connection with the added benefit of being able to leave my phone in my pocket.It's worked perfectly out of the box, no firmware updates requiredMy phone for reference is a OnePlus Nord 2 5gHappy customer!

I bought this as I had to send the other one back because it kept disconnecting frequently. This one is great. No app to install, no complicated setup process, literally plug in, connect phone via Bluetooth/WiFi and that's it. No disconnection issues and it connects automatically every time. This was cheaper than the first one I bought as well.

So good is that it is pretty small and inconspicuous and was pretty easy to setup using provided instructions, it connects pretty quickly and tends to work as expected. The only downsides i've had which is why it only gets 4 stars is it can sometimes take 15-20 secs to connect and if it gets disconnected while the car is still powered on it can drop and not reconnect (this could be the phone). But overall given the money i paid i am very happy as i dont have to plug the phone in via a cable everytime.

Takes away the untidiness of a cable. Love it

Bought this to make my 2018 Mazda CarPlay wireless. Had an issue where Mazda infotainment would remain on a blank screen. I had to press the Audio button followed by the Back button to get CarPlay to display. To fix this, after giving the unit over a minute to connect I looked at my Wi-Fi connection information symbol on iPhone and scrolled down to see what the Router IP address was. I entered this address into Safari on the phone and was taken to a page where there was an update required. There is also a section where you can report issues. I selected the update which took about 5 minutes to complete and waited for it to reboot. The device appears to be a lot more stable and will go direct to CarPlay after booting is complete. The IP address of the router was 192.168.1.101 but this may be different for your device. Be aware you should probably not update unless you are having issues.

I will advise anyone with apple play in their car to get this item .it’s fault less it works super fast in connections with the Apple car play easy to connect. instructions are simple plug & play
