Really useful, versatile tool for strengthening and stretching
These aren’t much to look at when you get them. At first I was quite disappointed. They’re basically just two discs of plastic about 17.4cm in diameter with EVA stuck to one side, which doesn’t look much next to more elaborate fitness equipment, but, once you start to use them, you begin to appreciate how useful they actually are.The two really good uses I’ve found for them are strengthening muscles and getting more out of stretches. You don’t realise it when you’re using them, but even simple poses take a lot more energy and muscle strength than usual with the sliders. The day after my first session using them gave me all sorts of unfamiliar aches from muscles that I didn’t even realise I’d been using. Balancing is made harder if your muscles have to fight against your foot slipping. It’s a bit like doing yoga on a shiny floor in socks, you need a lot more control to hold the positions without sliding. They’re really good for strengthening hamstrings while in a bridging position with both heels on the sliders, but my favourite way to use them is while stretching. Placing your hands on the sliders while you stretch allows you to reach without the friction of the carpet restricting your movement. I love to use them in child’s pose to get a little extra extension or in a side stretch, one placed either side, so that my lower hand can easily slide along the floor. I’ve found it especially annoying, in the past, trying to get my back leg to slide along the floor in a half-pigeon pose, but now with one of these slides placed under my back foot, it slides easily backwards, allowing me to get an even deeper stretch than I could before.I wish that they slid on my PVC mat. They don’t. But really it’s only a small complaint for something that I otherwise get a lot of good use from. Really I’m only getting started when it comes to the multitude of different uses these have. They may be cheap and underwhelming compared with some yoga equipment, but considering all the flashy options you have to clutter up your house with fitness equipment, it’s nice to have one item that is effective and cheap, but also slips under the bed when you’ve finished with it, and won’t take up the precious floor space in your bedroom.

Maybe if your an average woman or child and on carpet...
Frankly, I just won't use thisIf you need these for hardfloor, the foam is not thick enough or even correctly leveled. You can see this in the pictures. End result, the plastic rim grinds on the floor. The cost of the flooring is not worth the risk of having the ABS rub against it. Maybe if you're exceedingly light weight and don't care about your floors this would work...If you're using this for a carpet, this'll work, at least for carpet that is flat. Haven't been able to test this with thick carpet as we don't have that. However, the plastic rim is still a pain as it presses all along my finger tips whereas my palm sinks into the foam. Your finger tips will start to hurt. Easier just to use a frisbee...
