Good product, but...
The quality seems good and the stainless steel bushing that acts as the sealing surface which spins with the motor output shaft is machined to a close tolerance to the shaft. My only issue was with the O-rings which are inside the stainless bushing/wear surface. The only way I could get the steel bushing on the output shaft was by using a thick brass tube and a hammer to drive the bushing onto the shaft. The shaft had a good taper for compressing the O-ring seals but the O-rings are physically too thick. They can not compress enough to install on the PTO shaft so a thin ring of the O-rings material shears off when driven into place. Even after forcing the steel bushing onto the shaft, on my work bench. I had to take it back off because the shaft must be inserted through it's opening in the stern of the hull, through the rubber bellows and carbon ring before you can install the bushing onto the shaft. There's very little room and it's all but impossible to force the ring onto the shaft. I had to buy different slightly less thick O-rings to complete the install. This is not the correct fit. Most of the time using that much force would distort and/or damage the bushing or shaft. Now the carbon seal works well, my boat planes out much more quickly, and take off acceleration is improved.(In the picture above, the stainless wear ring on the left is the old bushing and the one on the right is new. Notice how thin the wear surface of the old bushing is. It was actually slightly distorted.Good luck.

Made it work
Carbon seal and bellows worked just fine. The steel shaft collar/retainer did not want to go over the pump shaft. I even tried to pre-fit it with a rubber mallet, no dice, just too tight of a fit. I removed the o-rings and the collar fit over the shaft but just would not go with the o-rings in place. It seemed like the o-ring grooves were not deep enough. I put the new o-rings in the original shaft collar and was able to assemble properly. To me it was not worth returning and doing all that but I was disappointed that I was not able to replace all the old equipment with this entire kit. Do with this information what you will.

Not fitting
The chrome hat fits without the O-rings, but once you put O-rings in, there’s no way to put the chrome hat over to shaft. Seems to be slightly miss machine.

Poor fit metal retainer didn’t fit it was too small. Had to use original retainer so front this kit I only used carbon ring and boot…Get what you pay for

O-rings would not fit on my drive shaft
As delivered the stainless steel collar would not fit on the shaft with the O-rings in place, I had a friend machine the O-ring grooves deeper on his lathe to allow the O-rings to expand enough to fit over the shaft. Other than that the other parts fit well and it was much less expensive than other options.

It works, kinda
The carbon seal, and boot fit great. The support ring NOT, mine was not milled/drilled big enough. After literally 1 hour of fighting it to go on the shaft, I gave up and put the original one on. But, all good, no more water leak.

O-ring channels machined too shallow
The o-ring channels in the floating ring are machined with dimensions too small for the O-rings to squish and let the ring pass over the drive shaft. Ended up having to re-use the OEM floating ring with the new O-rings. The carbon ring and rubber boot fit at least. Carbon ring is actually carbon as it should be (not plastic).
