You wouldn't be able to put this inside a blanket/duvet cover or whatever you brits call it. It will clot up in the corner of the cover and you won't get covered by it at all.For all intents and purposes though it wasn't designed for it as much as I wish it was.I dislike duvets, as I like my blankets soft and submissive. I use it as my main blanket and it keeps me surprisingly warm on the staple cold English nights provided kindly by houses lacking both heating and insulation. So, it does its job very well.Now, I do wish it cooperated with my duvet cover - I'm afraid one day I'll spill something nasty and that'll be the end of it. It does say it's washable, providing instructions, but for a 10 pound blanket I don't know what the outcome would be. Then again, I haven't tried washing it yet.Otherwise I love it a lot. If you're still cold get another one, the more of these the merrier honestly
