This is like wearing a towel but not having to worry about wrapping it around you or it staying in place. It's not a one size fits all so if you're 2x or more it will be tight. It would be nice if they offered a plus size option for bigger people.

I'm not a surfer or a swimmer. I'm a work-from-home, laze around the house-er. As we head into colder weather this year, I've been really into wearable hooded blankets, but all the ones I've tried quickly become just a bit too heavy and warm.I got the MUTAO Color Blocking Surf Poncho Changing Towel because it looked like a lighter alternative; an easy to throw on lounging robe that can provide a bit of extra warmth without overheating me. It's absolutely perfect for that purpose.This versatile changing robe fits both my 5-ft 2-inch wide-hipped frame and my 6-ft tall husband. It has a nice-sized hood to help dry my hair when I exit the shower. The ample front pouch pocket is good for keeping my hands warm or toting various odds and ends from my upstairs desk to the downstairs living area.The only thing I don't really love about this robe is the fabric. It's a semi-smooth microfiber that feels a lot like the cleaning cloths I use in the kitchen. The kind of fabric that is mostly smooth, but when you rub it, it snags against every bit of dry skin on your fingertips and elbows. A softer, more bath-towel-like terrycloth would be an improvement.One discrepancy to note: The product description indicates that you can iron on a cool setting, cold-water wash and tumble dry on "normal low heat". The tag on the robe, however, specifies no ironing and no tumble drying. I did put the robe through a normal wash and tumble-dry cycle and didn't notice any significant shrinkage or changes in the fabric.Overall, I like the lighter weight of this robe and I think I'll get a lot of use from it.

I absolutely love this gorgeous changing towel. It’s perfect for the pool and the beach. It’s larger enough that I can fry off and then change out of my bathing suit underneath it. I use it to provide privacy in a crowded locker room. The fabric is a soft microfiber so it’s a little less absorbent than regular terry cloth but it still does a good job of drying you off. The hood is spacious and nice to have when it’s chilly and you have wet hair. I love the gray and pink combo too, gives it a feminine look. There is a kangaroo pocket for you to slip keys or a phone into while you change. The sleeves are 3/4 length but because I am smaller and have short arms they almost like an open cuffed full length sleeve which doesn’t bother me. These changing towels are as about as big as a regular full sized Terry cloth beach towel when folded so they are not very compact. I take a gym bag or back pack with me when I go to the pool and beach so folded size isn’t really an issue with me. Overall I really love this changing towel and would recommend it for anyone who frequents the pool or beach.

This changing poncho is AWESOME! So I got this for my daughter who tends to use A LOT of bath towels due to a disorder she has. This poncho has spared us the extra laundry, there is way less water on the floor, she LOVES the colors and soft cozy texture, it’s easy to wash and keep clean, and it has hood on it 😀 this poncho is large on me, let alone my daughter but the large size is PERFECT for changing discreetly (when we do get to use it at the pool or beach) and for drying off quicker. I wish these ponchos were around when I was a teen spending my summers at the pool lol I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It definitely serves good purpose as a changing robe when you are in a beach. The robe is not either too thin or too heavy, it is a medium weight. The robe is one- size- fits -all, I feel it is a bit too large for me. Wish it could come with different size option. The material is soft, the label states it is made from 90% polyester and 10% polyamide. Sewing quality appears good, I didn't see any loose thread. Overall, it's a good changing robe.

I sometimes get soaked when I go kayaking. Instead of trying to change, I just sit on a plastic bag until I get home. I don’t know why I never think of changing, but when I was offered this I got all excited. No more driving home in wet clothes while sitting on a plastic bag.I’m going to use this, but it’s about the most static-y piece of “clothing” I have ever seen. I threw it on out of the box and the static was so strong and so plentiful it pulled most of my hair out of barrettes! That’s crazy!When I took it out of the dryer everything in the same load was stuck to it. So, I really do wish it was made out of cotton instead of being what is called microfiber (though the company’s description says it is cotton).Actually, the company’s product description says it’s cotton in one paragraph and in the next says it is 90% polyester and 10% nylon! Here it is:“The 400gsm plush cotton terry toweling is super absorbent and doubles as a towel. . . Made from 100% 90% polyester and 10% nylon.”I’m tempted to give it one star for the misleading description alone but I like this (aside from the fact that if my hair isn’t soaked it makes it look awful).I’m only five feet tall and it comes to my low mid-calf. It almost reaches my wrists. I’m going to lounge in it when I don’t care at all what I look like. It is cozy! And it does what it’s meant to do, even if the company’s description is confusing about the fiber content.

I was looking for something like this as I live in a condo complex with a community pool. I love that when I am done swimming or coming out of the hot tub I can quickly throw this on for a warmer walk home or even change out of my swimsuit discretely. Fits as expected with enough room to change under the towel

I wanted something with enough coverage after the pool and will probably use it after showering as the weather cools. It’s heavy, well made and not confining. Very comfortable
