Good forge
Nice forge for a good price the choke system can be a little confusing although that might just be me but everything works as intended although refractory is something I'd definitely recommend buying to go along with this product mainly for safety reasons

One burner works good
This heated up a railroad spike just fine with one burner. However, when I lit the second burner, it sputters, and does not get as hot as the burner closest to the gas inlet. They are offset, so the furthest tube from the gas inlet does not burn equally to the closer one. I am disappointed to say the least, especially because I had it for 3 months prior to ever lighting it. Sorry, but I do not recommend this forge.

👍
It was easy to set up, but kind of a PITA to get both torches going. HOWEVER, once they are going, it works great. For 130 bucks, it's not too shabby

Hot little broken forge.
The product came in a box that was comprised. Upon inspection, proper packing would have eliminated a large void that allowed the box to be crushed to the point of tearing. One door was completely broken off of the hinge. The weld did not penetrate the metal on the door and failed. Luckily, I have a welder. The ceramic fiber wool was soft, fluffy and coming apart. The wool was cut crooked and allowed for very large gaps throughout the floor and the ends of the forge chamber. The wool on the doors had small metal rods pushed through it which were tack welded to the inner edge of each door. This was done to hold the wool in place. However, the layers of the wool had separated and the outer layer was loose and free of the metal rods. Luckily, I had a new blanket in perfect condition and replaced all of the preinstalled wool. I clipped the small rods down to 1 inch and bent them outwards to accept the new blanket. I then bent the rods into place over the new wool. The new fiber I installed had the seam pressed together on the floor of the forge with the firebrick over top of the seam. There was no refractory cement present…again, I was lucky enough to have some. The included brush was used and I also had some rigidizer to spray on the blanket before I applied the cement.Using the forge as it came would have resulted in massive heat loss and possibly damage to the forge body as it was exposed to high heat. I would have returned this product if I hadn’t been able to fix all that was wrong with it. This unit is identical to the devil forge at half the cost. I suspect that they are made in the same factory and the culls are bought and sent out as a no name brand. Now, once the forge was repaired and made safe it performed quite well. It does get hot enough to forge weld. I will attempt pieces of varying sizes to see what it is capable of. As of now 3/16 sections of carbon steel will weld with ease. The heat retention is good with no hot spots. The burners are nice and are easy to adjust. If the forge came with a roll of new wool instead of it being preinstalled it would not have had to be replaced. If the doors came with tabs to hold the wool in place instead of rods through the wool, the fiber on the doors would not have been damaged. Be prepared for anything!!

It’s not bad but not great
No directions at all on how to assemble any of it. No instructions on how to adjust the air intake. “High heat” paint peeled and bubbled off almost immediately. Tonga are completely worthless. They have crappy paint in them and you can’t open them at all and once you do they won’t close and grab anything. But plus side is once I figured out how to adjust the air it’s working decently at the moment but I have no idea how much pressure to fuel ratio I need or anything else.
