You Can't Take An Elephant On the Bus (You Can’t Let an Elephant...)

I gave this as a gift to a friend's almost two and half year old. They immediately wanted it read to them and gave it their full and serious attention, taking in all the rhymes and the pictures. They began to smile, their eyes shone, a smile spread across their face and then they dissolved into giggles. We read it three times in a row and the laughter and smiles increased with each reading. Great fun and very enjoyable

Preposterous situations and cheeky language make this a book that will appeal to children and their parents alike. I'm looking forward to reading it with my 3 year old granddaughter and listening to the 5 year old reading it to her. I'm sure there will be giggles.

I live in England but I have family in America so I was asked to read a story about London to a class of 5 year old children. They loved it so much I left them the book.
