Really rather impressed with this. I bought the basic set up (one transmitter, one receiver) to see how effective it was and have immediately ordered another load of transmitters for other doors around the home as the range (and audibility) is excellent. Clearly audible 50 yards away on the other side of our garage with just one window open in the room where the receiver/chime is located. I've tested the transmitter on my workshop door, which has 3 brick walls and 20 yards of space between it and the chime and it worked every timeIt's simple enough; a single or double chime on triggering that can be set with different tones for each receiver, which is just what we need to notify us if anyone has opened our garage, shed, workshop or house doors.Note that these aren't recommended for outdoor use, (although at the price of a transmitter I'm going to take my chances and see if I can waterproof one myself with some suitable resin). If you can offer a waterproof transmitter in your range I'd be keen to buy some.

My mother thinks we have got it to prevent intruders and feels safer. My father hears it in the kitchen if my mother thinks of wandering out the flat. I am wondering about putting one on the garden gate so we know when visitors are approaching. It really helps that the sound is separate from the sensor and there is no need for wires. Excellent product.

I bought this for my business so that I can hear if someone comes in when I'm out-the-back (I got fed up with being scared half to death when making my way back into the shop and finding someone stood there staring at me).Easy to use (attach the door pieces to the frame and door, plug in the sound piece to any available socket) and you are pretty much ready for use. Choosing the sound you want can be a little annoying as there are so many (a couple would be entertaining for home use - the Happy Birthday and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer I should think are probably popular) but once you've found the one you're happy with (I went for the Ding Dong) it works really well.The only downside is the sticky pads provided to attach the door and frame pieces; these are about as much use as wet slime for holding them in place so you will need to invest in something a little stronger. Once you do though, it' s a great little product which does exactly what you want it to do.

This worked perfect for a couple of months,Then it developed a fault. Contacted customer service and I must say they were absolutely outstanding.Quick response and my problem was sorted in no time. Would I recommend this company/product, yes 100%

I wanted to plug this in at the top of the stairs so I could hear upstairs if someone came through the front door (at the bottom of the stairs), however the range, although not far, doesn't reach, which is rather annoying. It is very easy to install and there is a good selection of alert sounds. It isn't self-explanatory, once you've selected your alert, how you set it to that tone and volume. I couldn't see any instructions included to explain set up. However, after a bit of trial and error I managed to figure it out. I can't help but feel, for the money, I could have got something better. If you don't mind the plugin part being near the door or window where the sensor is placed this would be suitable, but I believe there are cheaper alternatives.

I bought for my mother-in-law when she was laid up with a bad foot. she lives in an upside-down maisonette so couldn't be going up and down the stairs for the door. it's been a godsend and worth the money

This worked great for about a week. Large selection of chimes and volumes. It has stopped working. We've replaced the battery, we've tried re-setting it but nothing seems to work and the problem appears to be with the plug in part as the blue light mostly flashes and sound only comes out occasionally (we've tried ever chime and every volume and getting the units really close together but nothing seems to work!). Shame as it was really good while it worked. Returning it and receiving a refund from Amazon and will be buying a different solution.
