It worked for my Cruis'n World
I ordered this for a medium resolution Cruis'n World to LCD monitor conversion because the current monitor was no longer useable. I removed the 1994 25" old tube and tube chassis and replaced them with this CGA to HDMI converter and a 26" Insignia tv that was a few years old. I spliced/hooked the only five wires that I had to the provided 8 pin cable. My game only had 5 video wires; red, green, blue, sync, and ground. I turned everything on and got a signal right away. After a few minutes the signal changed and became unusable. So I found some directions online that recommended holding down the "down" for 5 seconds for it to auto detect the correct monitor settings. It worked, it used the 800x600 setting and the pictures held its quality. The default language for the OSD is Chinese so It took several minutes of button pushing to change it to English. After that I fine tuned the all of the positioning and color settings and now we are up and running. I did not use the provided 5 volt power cables because I already luckily had one that would fit the other power port. I have never worked with arcade equipment before so I was a bit unsure about undertaking the project. I'm very thankful that piece of equipment worked out well or I probably would be getting rid of the game. My criticism of the piece is the lack of directions, default Chinese OSD, short cables and no AC power supply. But, it worked as advertised so I'm very satisfied.

Cruis'n World
Like a previous reviewer, I also used this on a Cruis'n World. In my case it was an upright cab. I had an issue with the color shifting over time. I went from good color to the colors being all washed out and more pink. I contacted the company and they suggested setting “Clamp st” SET “03” , “Clamp sp” SET “04”.That fixed everything. Hope this helps others.Very Happy with this product.

Disappointed
Didn't convert Star Wars Trilogy so I could use it on a TV using VGA or HDMI. Tried various adapters and cables. Disappointed
