The build quality feels nice. It doesn't feel chintzy and it has a nice satin black finish. The best thing is the heavy glass shade. It's real glass! I was very happy with that, because at this price point ($75) often you'll get a polycarbonate shade that yellows and cracks in eighteen months. It also came with hardware for installation, so you shouldn't need anything besides a screwdriver for installation. It uses a standard E26 base bulb with an A19 envelope, but there's room in the shade for longer or wider lamps if you need something like a corncob led for more light.

Ordered 3 and opened 1 - looked great, packaged really well, we didn’t open the other two and then the project got delayed. When we got around to the project a couple weeks after the Amazon return window we realized that the 3rd box contained a broken unit despite the package looking pristine. Was a little hard to get to direct conversation with the seller but once I did they were very responsive and sent a new item very quickly. So happy with them! Install was easy. Had to use different screws for the bracket because the ones included were too long but too long is generally better than too short.

Looks nice. The shade is white. The shade has an open bottom so if you want to stop wasps from building a nest in there, I trimmed the 4 sides of the shade's packaging styrofoam with scissors to fit inside the shade and it provides a sealed bottom.

These look great and were easy for my electrician to install. The glass is a bit fragile. My electrician broke one taking it out of the box so I had to order another. Just be careful taking them out of the packaging.

We purchased six of these lights to replace all the outdoor lighting on our home with a siding refresh. We purchased two sizes depending on the type of door and location, larger for the garage, front entryway, and by the back slider, smaller for the two single door entrances. The look is exactly as we hoped, and the quality is excellent. The glass is very thick, and yes, really glass, and the overall structure is very sturdy. One thing to note, which we did and measured before purchasing, has to do with where you use them. Because we measured, we were able to devise a workaround, so made our purchase. If you have an eave over them, and you do not have enough clearance, you won't be able to lift the glass out all the way, or possibly enough depending on where your mount is located, to replace the lightbulb. For us, that meant the back slider and the front entryway doors. Our workaround was to purchase the cylindrical lightbulbs, noting that despite not being able to remove the glass, there was enough space to lift it and there was enough room at the corner area between the metal bars for them to fit. Not so with your standard shaped bulbs.

I wanted something modern and art deco at the same time: they look great. A little piece of black trim to protect the glass has lost stickyness but isn’t a big deal. I wish the glass was frosted white so it pops better during the day. Still a good buy. Before and after
