These new construction recessed lights are very well made. The are sturdy with strong springs and very bright. Installation is quite easy, especially with the ability to disconnect the wiring box from the light fixture. There is plenty of room in the wiring box for daisy chaining fixtures, though you will probably want to substitue larger wire nuts.The lights fit flush against the ceiling thanks to the strong springs. I found the best way to insert the fixture into the ceiling hole is slide one spring in the hole and then lifting the opposite spring push the fixture in place - that is, don't try to push both springs in the hole at the same time. Despite the strong hold of the springs, the fixture can be removed for service quite easily.The only negative has to do with the gasket between the fixture and ceiling. The gaskets were deformed in each of the fixtures making installation difficult (see photo). I ended up just removing them.These are quite expensive fixtures, likely due to superior construction. Even so, we are delighted with the modern look and very bright illumination in our kitchen.

I am just finishing rough in of a house rehab and got these for a bathroom. They meet the code requirements and what I like most is the look.The recessed instead of flush led makes these look much more architectural. I have only installed the j-boxes at this point getting ready for my rough in electrical inspection. I am using the entire 4 pack in the bathroom. 2 in the shower area and two in the main bathroom. The rectangular shape provides a design element past the round lights and then also coordinates the look with the ceiling fan. I am using an unlighted exhaust fan. These are setup on dimmers.Luxrite makes great products.

Over all I am pleased with these lights. They were simple to install, I do wish they had push to connect connectors as opposed to wire nuts like other lights I have installed. The temperature selection is nice and I would always lean toward temp selectable lights after using these. The light output is nice and give good coverage. For the cost and ease of installation of these lights I could not be happier. I would buy again. 5 STARS
