A Useful book for Military historians and military modellers
Having recently purchased the Meng Models 1/35 scale A7V tank kit, so I thought it would be a good idea to find out a little more about the real thing's inception, production and performance. I could not have wished for a more insightful publication. Written in an interesting style that explained in simple terms what the thinking was behind the design and how, despite some of its evident shortcomings, the A7V made it into production and then onto the battlefield.Although only black and white photographs are used, they have been chosen well to supplement the text.I would have liked details of the tanks' distribution within the army corps and also some attempt to exemplify some of the camouflage schemes applied by their crews in the field. However, that aside, I was pleased to add the book to my little library.

Very happy.
I like it, it is made of plastic.

A nice complement on the subject
You all recognise the format. And it's a lot of info in such a small book. Fits perfect together with English and french tanks of WW1.

Information I haven't found anywhere else
I've been interested in World War 1 for years, but I've never seen any information about German tank development. This book fills that void. It's a pretty thin book, but I think that's because there's not much information about this topic, but it includes lots of photographs and details about the use of these tanks in combat as well as design and performance details.
